I originally bought the Latercase before hearing that they completely ripped off the Pitaka. Out of curiosity, I ordered the Pitaka and liked it better. Pitaka has better deeper color, better protection ring around camera, and slightly better coverage on the sides and durability. Latercase is a blatant ripoff of this case that is clearly produced cheaper. Enough with Latercase, on to my actual PITAKA review: This is not a case for someone wanting to completely protect their phone. This will help, but it's definitely not going to protect your phone as well as many other cases can for a lot cheaper. For me, I bought this because using no case was too slippery with this version of the iphone. The PITAKA feels nice and the added protection, though minimal, is a plus. I think this case would be perfect if it wrapped completely around the top and bottom. I'm not sure I understand the decision to leave those parts exposed. The case also needs to be slightly higher on the screen side so that when you set your phone face down it is not resting directly on the screen.... Again, not sure why they chose to protect the camera with an elevated lip, but not the screen. Lastly, this is definitely overpriced for what you get... but it's a niche customer they are going after so I understand it. I still rate this 4 stars because this is the prefect case for someone like me. I have tried a dozen plus low profile minimalist cases and nothing even comes close (other than the Later case ripoff version). ... show more

Best of the minimalist cases! The case is very light, looks expensive and well built. Likely influenced by my attraction to carbon fiber, I think this is the prettiest phone case made today. Unfortunately, it does not provide adequate protection for level of risk I am will to accept on my new iPhone 11 Pro Max, so I wound up returning the case for a refund as this case mostly protects from scratches and minimal drop protection on 4 corners of your phone. The iPhone 11 series are rugged phones and arguably the most drop resistant smart phone made and may require only minimal protection from a case. If you drop your phone only about once a year, I would strongly recommend this case. The case has embedded metal plates in a crescent shaped pattern to avoid interference with Qi wireless charging which easily attaches to one of their car mounts which I also returned. Pitaka also makes a matching aramid fiber minimalist wallet. Although their minimalist wallet seems interesting, I confirmed with their customer support that the wallet does not magnetically attach to their phone cases like their mounts do. ... show more

    • Great product, bit pricey, but works
I have a Scosche magnetic mount with Qi Wireless charging. I love it. But, unfortunately with my Otterbox plus the metal plates it just wasn't all that reliable as the distance between the phone it self and the mount was too much. Couldn't even use it with the at-home wireless charging. Ordered this because the metal plates are built in it. It 100% works exactly as intended. The mount held very well, charging was instant. Pro's - Lightweight - Very very very good grip compared to most cases - Great design - One of the only cases on the market with built in metal places for wireless charging & magnetic mounting Con's - Case doesn't curl far enough around to provide any real screen protection. Make sure and use an anti-shatter screen protector because if it falls on the ground face down, this case provides absolutely zero protection. - Overpriced, but almost no alternatives out there. ... show more

The cover arrived in a plastic sack - not in a box, like the covers that are new do. It WAS in mint condition, but it didn't have the warranty materials with it, etc. I would have been ok with the used one but it shouldn't have been priced as new - no way to know how much wear and tear it's experienced, even if it did look good. ... show more

Is the price. This is my 3rd cover from them so it's obvious I like the product. But alas, it is overpriced. Companies that truly want to survive must make a great product (which this is) but not take advantage of their customers. This is by far the most expensive cover for my phone. iPhone Pro Max. Same with my Samsung Note 10+. Love the look, the magnetic property, and the thinness. It's not for you if you're a dropper. ... show more

The case came in a weighty box, very nice packaging. Putting the case on was easy, a perfect fit for my phone. I love the way it feels, as it adds an extra amount of grip without being too sticky and getting caught on anything. I also really appreciate the lip around the cameras, it makes me feel a lot better about setting my phone down on more rough surfaces. A little pricey, but absolutely worth it if you’re looking for a high quality minimalist case. Also I love the compatibility it has with its other products, I personally have the wireless charger mount for my car and it is definitely something I recommend getting with this case.     • The best thin iPhone case on the market.
This case us super strong, very protective, very easy to hold but does ''not'' grip the inside of your pocket making it quite easy to slide in/out. If dropped, I've experienced no phone damage when paired with a quality screen protector. Yes, it's a little pricy, but if it saves your 1,000.00 phone? I'd like to see it for 5-10.00 less and would be 5 stars on the value. However, I'm completely pleased with the purchase. This is my second case and will probably be my go to case as long as they are in production. Nothing thin and protective gets close in my opinion. There are more secure cases to be sure [if you're throwing it across the room, involved in construction/heavy type environments, but general daily use this is the best. ... show more
