Installation was a bit tricky for my little 5x 8 utility trailer. But man does this Jack make the trailer roll around on the driveway or hardpac like butter, even w/ a 600# load on it. I have to hitch it up before I load it as the jack even when retracted is a bit to long to flip the wheels down. So i need to flip the drop hitch around to get the clearance I need. If you have a heavier trailer this jack will serve you well. It's built fairly robust. If are under 750 # tongue weight ( car hauler, 19ft runabout it would be fine). And you'll appreciate the dual wheels for rolling your trailer around. ... show more

I recently bought a monster of log splitter that is so heavy to lift that I wanted an easy way to hook and un-hook from my tractor. My body is not getting any younger and while I was strong in my youth, it is now just a souvenir... Installing this jack on my splitter proved challenging due to interferences with the splitter cylinder and the soldered swing back stand, not to mention the slim trailer tail but I managed it with some block of wood and now, I am happy to have it to save my back!! The only drawback is that the wheels tends to turn with the jack when using the handle to lift or lower the jack, so you must block the wheels one way or another on their way up or down, otherwise, the jack does not go either way up or down. The swing back feature is a must!! Remember, this is a jack, not a stand, it is not designed to hold a heavy weight for extended periods of time. ... show more

I instants the jack 3 months ago on my trailer and it worked fine the few times I used it. My trailer is usually attached to my truck. I needed to remove the trailer and the jack won't lift anymore. Feels like the gears are messed up. I've used the jack maybe 5 times since installing. Seems like one month return policy is short for an item like this. ... show more
