    • Simple, affordable and effective
Many times if you are to buy something like this, it is going to cost you at least $1000 if not more plus you might need to pay somebody to install it and that could cost another $500-$1000. This product was pretty easy to install. We did make a couple adaptions to some of the screws to secure a little tighter with our vehicle. We have a Toyota Tacoma. But overall we haven’t had too many issues. There has been a couple times where we have needed to re-secure the rack, which is good to factor in maybe ever 2-3 months. I love that they have the little side connector things and also a place where you can put a strap on the rack to tighten the ladders. I would recommend tightening each separately and not using one rat strap to pull the other rack towards the other rack. That creates tension that can loose in the rack and Could cause the rack to no longer be secure. Overall great product ... show more

Very pleased with the quality of this rack, especially considering the price! Very well packaged, easy to assemble and install. I did not trust the clamping J bolts it came with so I drilled and mounted it to the top of the bed with 3/8” x 1-1/2” bolts.

Overall good quality. Needed something that would extend above my cab and it does. It’s solid and easy to assemble however it will slide a little along the bed rail if enough pressure is applied if you don’t drill holes to bolt it in

I ordered this to haul pipes, ladders stuff like that on my work truck. The racks are good and solid, everything was there. What don't like is the bolts stick up like 3" on the mounting brakets. plan on trimming them. Also they came with no instructions. Pretty simple to figure out, but a quick look would be helpful. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. Took about 20 minutes to install on 04 silverado. Feels solid, looks decent and it's a good price. ... show more

I use these racks in a non-traditional way. I use them for a kayak trailer that I'm mounted on there for a second level. They worked perfectly. I would recommend this for that use or on a truck. Time will tell if this was a good value. The PROS: sturdy, stylish, adjustable (see my "install" notes below). I bought this to use primarily with kayaks/canoes on my 2014 Nissan Frontier shortbed. In general, I like it. As far as ladder racks go, it has a nice look that I don't mind leaving on my truck all the time. The CONs: rust showed up almost immediately; customer support still hasn't shown up (2 months later) Within a few days of installing - after a few days of light rain - rust showed up on several of the welds on each post base. These were not areas where paint chipped off during installation (although that happened in one spot despite my overly cautious efforts to prevent chipping). These are the factory welded joints. That concerns me about the life expectancy of this product. It also concerns me that if I leave it on through the entire season (which was my intent) I'm going to have rust running down onto my truck. So, I called customer service and got nothing. Then I emailed customer service - and got an immediate/initial response that they're backed up and will respond as soon as possible. Then, a month later, I emailed customer service again. Its been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for an actual, real-person response. Fortunately, my initial contact with them is documented and was within the warranty period. We'll see what they say... if they ever respond. Installation Notes: This did not fit onto my truck with the supplied J-bolts. The issue was that the J-bolt was too wide and couldn't fit between the bottom of my rail and the top of the factory-installed utilitrack system. I bought my own j-bolts at a local hardware shop and got it to work., although they're much longer that I'd like and will need to be cut at some point. ... show more
