Really enjoying having this around. The Binoculars are much better than expected, we use them often. The telescope is also great, but the phone holder is really not worth using. It's awkward, and almost impossible to keep the scope sighted on a target while using it. The tripod is also a bit wiggly, but much more stable if you don't extend the very last (smallest) section. I don't know if I didn't know set up the telescope and binoculars, but I couldn't see anything. All the kit was amazing but I couldn't. I follow the instructions but nothing, maybe this kit came with problems.

The binoculars are used quite frequently. The telescope is excellent for looking at the moon, not so much for stars around Seattle Washington even on nights that are clear. The stars are there, not much more. The price is quite inexpensive. I believe I selected this item because it had the binoculars. Other telescopes at about the same price have auto tracking which you may want to consider. Again, you can see the stars and find them, but that’s about it. I don’t expect them to dance, but they were not too fascinating. I am satisfied and would still buy it if I had it to do over. ... show more

Overall this is a really fun tool. I do not recommend buying this if you are hoping for perfection but for the price this is super worth it. It doesn't see into deep space and you really can't get to close to Saturn or Jupiter but it clearly pulls the moon in and is also really fun to use out camping to view far mountain ranges etc. I do recommend this to any beginner like myself and aside from it being finicky when trying to focus on smaller sky objects I am overall satisfied. ... show more

My husband and I purchased this telescope for our son for Christmas. Although we haven't had many nights that were clear enough to use, the nights we have had have been awesome!
