I purchased this spray tanner after reading many reviews and comparisons on about a dozen different systems. I am not disappointed at all with this one! I purchased it to use on myself, and it is a tad tricky the first couple times, but I think that I finally have it figured out! Once comfortable and familiar with how it works, it is wonderful. Leaves a smooth, even tan. Fast and easy to use. It comes with 3 levels of tanning solution, which is very helpful. I am excited to show off my new tan and am so thankful that I ordered my own airbrush system because it will save me so much money. In my area, an airbrush tan is $40-50. I don't mind paying that here and there for special occasions. But, I would like to keep a tan all summer long. For me that is around 4-5 months. I live in the North East with a short warm weather season. If I get a tan once a week at the salon, I am looking at upwards of $800+ a season, which would be the minimum, and that would include extra times throughout the off season or tipping. The small investment in this system pays for itself many times over every season! And the best news is, that I plan on having a year round glow for pennies on the dollar. I am so excited! I would highly recommend the MaxiMist Lite to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable and easy to use spray tan system. The machine and tanning solutions are all top notch and I don't think will disappoint!

We bought this in about 2018 and have used it at least 70 times. It still works wonderfully. After each use, we run about 1/2 ounce of water through to clean it, and that's all. The instructions are very clear on how to adjust it, and we have only had to readjust it once since we got it (by turning a knob or two). I'm writing this review years later, so don't know if the machine has changed in the meantime, but we love the one we have!

Omg I'm in love with this gun. I cannot believe I lived this long without it. I had bought the St Tropez gun a little over 2 years ago and loved it at first but the gun began not working as well and I emailed the company and left a message and never got a return call. There was no way to take the gun apart, other than the filter. I bought the gun for personal use but recently have had coworkers wanting me to tan them. I decided to invest in a new gun. After shopping around and looking at so many guns and reviewes, I decided to bite the bullet. This gun is amazing. What took me at least 15 to 20 minutes to tan myself in 2 coats before, now took 5 minutes, if that. It will take me some time to get the hang of it, the gun is bigger, but like all new things, it takes time. I realized how amazing my solution was as well with this new gun. I have not yet tried the solution the gun comes with, I had the Norvell, which I love, but will update a review once I open them. Also, this gun is super easy to clean and I am so happy it comes with extra parts. I seriously can't express enough how in love with my new gun I am. Good price and investment.

I originally ordered this item with prime on a Sunday. As of the following Friday my order had been packaged but not picked up by ups. After dealing with a hot mess of Amazon I finally placed a new order and a week and a few days later I finally received my product. This was at no fault to the actual company supplying the machine but more so on amazon. Machine did come a little banged up but works just fine. Instructions were easy to understand and set up was very easy. I do recommend buying the tent as well because I did not and will be placing a separate order for one.

I bought this to use at home on myself. One or two sprays once a week. No problems other than the container holding the self tanner does leak occasionally. Not a huge issue just wipe it off. Spray is nice and even. Very beginner friendly and worth the price in my opinion. Be sure to care for it as directed and clean it after every spray job

I purchased a Unit at the Aesthetics Show that I paid a lot of money for and from the moment we got it, it was problem after problem. I got tired of giving refunds to clients. We returned the unit 2x and the third one also stopped spraying. Finally I gave up and started looking for a replacement machine. I found the Maxi Mist and took a chance. At first I was nervous because it was plastic and I was afraid it was not going to hold up well, but I was wrong. This thing is a work horse and it spray 100x better then my other unit and 1/2 the price. I love the drying function and how quick and easy it is to clean. It takes a little getting use to finding the right setting as this one will spray very heavy or light with the slightest turn. Also I use the tanning solution and it turns out I also like that way better then the other Brand we were using. So, overall I am super happy and glad I took the chance and so are my clients!

After only using this a few times it started leaking. The cap was screwed on tightly and all parts connected perfectly. I dealt with it by wearing gloves and holding a cloth over the bottle/under the seal to catch the drips. Now it’s pouring out when it use and is completely unusable. This is for my own personal use so it’s not like the machine is being used much. Buy with caution - there are lots of other reviews saying this same exact thing. Wish I listened to them.

I loved it and haven’t used a lot, it sat in a box for a year as we moved. I pulled it out last year and used it a dozen times. It worked great, I cleaned it and put it away back in the box. I pulled it out to use it today and I went to turn it on and it wouldn’t stay turned on. The gentleman with tech support wasn’t very helpful.
