I purchased this spray tanner after reading many reviews and comparisons on about a dozen different systems. I am not disappointed at all with this one! I purchased it to use on myself, and it is a tad tricky the first couple times, but I think that I finally have it figured out! Once comfortable and familiar with how it works, it is wonderful. Leaves a smooth, even tan. Fast and easy to use. It comes with 3 levels of tanning solution, which is very helpful. I am excited to show off my new tan and am so thankful that I ordered my own airbrush system because it will save me so much money. In my area, an airbrush tan is $40-50. I don't mind paying that here and there for special occasions. But, I would like to keep a tan all summer long. For me that is around 4-5 months. I live in the North East with a short warm weather season. If I get a tan once a week at the salon, I am looking at upwards of $800+ a season, which would be the minimum, and that would include extra times throughout the off season or tipping. The small investment in this system pays for itself many times over every season! And the best news is, that I plan on having a year round glow for pennies on the dollar. I am so excited! I would highly recommend the MaxiMist Lite to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable and easy to use spray tan system. Omg I'm in love with this gun. I cannot believe I lived this long without it. I had bought the St Tropez gun a little over 2 years ago and loved it at first but the gun began not working as well and I emailed the company and left a message and never got a return call. There was no way to take the gun apart, other than the filter. I bought the gun for personal use but recently have had coworkers wanting me to tan them. I decided to invest in a new gun. After shopping around and looking at so many guns and reviewes, I decided to bite the bullet. This gun is amazing. What took me at least 15 to 20 minutes to tan myself in 2 coats before, now took 5 minutes, if that. It will take me some time to get the hang of it, the gun is bigger, but like all new things, it takes time. I realized how amazing my solution was as well with this new gun. I have not yet tried the solution the gun comes with, I had the Norvell, which I love, but will update a review once I open them. Also, this gun is super easy to clean and I am so happy it comes with extra parts. I seriously can't express enough how in love with my new gun I am. Good price and investment. ... show more

If you’re spending this much, might as well take the plunge and get a better gun. It gets the job done but lacks consistency which is really frustrating. You really can’t rely on the output of the sprayer. Some days it’s amazing and others it loves to spit and stripe. Also, the solution that comes with the machine is garbage. Do yourself a favor and order a bottle of Norvell Venetian. If my return window wasn’t closed on Amazon, this thing would be going back. ... show more

I read a ton of reviews on different machines trying to decide which spray tan machine I wanted. I knew I did not want to spend $500 on something I wasn’t confident would be a good outcome. For the price, this one is great! I did buy Norvell Venetian solution and have not used the one that came with it yet. My husband watched a YouTube video and did a great job spraying me! We’ve used it twice now and it’s working great. So glad to not have to spend $50 each time I need a tan now. I would 100% recommend this to beginners. ... show more

This spray tan machine is pretty great for the price that you pay. I made my boyfriend be my first tester of the machine. I sprayed him and he turned this light bronze color (no orange at all). He at first refused to let me spray him but once he saw the results, he absolutely loved the tan he got from it. I cannot vouch for the bottles of solutions that come with the machine because i haven't used those yet. Norvell will always be my go to brand for solution, I'm scared to try anything else. As for the maxi mist machine, I love it.. It does exactly what its supposed to. It's a great machine for me to begin with and definitely saves me a lot of money rather than going to get $25 spray tans every couple of weeks. It is simple to put together and take apart to clean. I would recommend this machine for people who are looking to start out on spray tanning. Also, another thing I want to mention is to make sure you put the machine back together correctly after you take it apart to clean it, and make sure all the pieces are correct and tight, otherwise it may not spray correctly.. I made this mistake when putting it back together. No biggie though.. easy fix. ... show more

    • Great at home spray tan set up!
I’ve used the Maximist twice already, and I like the results. The first time I had some trouble with the spray gun, but the company helped me out with resetting it, and now it’s perfect. The tan solution sprays right on with even coverage, great results. This is my second at home machine, and I’ve been tanning at home like this for 4 years. It’s more affordable than a package of spray tans from a salon for the summer, and my first machine lasted 4 years! Follow the instructions and watch a video on how to self apply, and you can manage it solo. If you enjoy the results of a spray tan, give this a try.
