This car seat is so terrible. The canopy does not stay attached at all, a slight tug and off it comes. The fabric says easy off but it is not easy on at all. The styrofoam is starting to detach from the base after less than 5 months of use. I was going to just live with the canopy issue when I received the seat when my baby was born but now with the car seat styrofoam basically detaching rendering the seat a risk to my child I can’t not write a review and warn other parents not to buy this seat. The quality for the price is great, we had previously bought an Uppa Baby car seat for double the price and our baby absolutely hated the position it put him in. This car seat he isn’t upset in at all and I love the color and look of it as well. It also works with our uppa baby stroller with an adapter! The worst car seat you can buy! I always loved Maxi cost before this but it has been a nightmare with the back part of the car seat coming out. There is no clips to fix it to put it back in what I had to do is grab a butter knife and push it back down and that would only last a short time before having it come back out again. After scouring the Internet trying to figure out if maybe I wasn’t doing it right I found that a lot of people had the same issue with this particular kind of car seat. I like this seat, but there are a few things I really don’t like about it. I love the color and it is very well cushioned and seems comfortable. It is a very good- looking and safe car seat. The straps on mine are problematic - one is longer than the other so I cannot get the harness properly fitted on my baby, although the buttons on the chest clip and crotch buckle are easy to use. It is a 10 pound car seat. Once you add the baby, even a little one, it feels very heavy. The top harness height is also too low for a taller baby. Mine is 3 months old and is already at it - he won’t be able to use the car seat past 6 months. For the price, I wish I would have bought a Graco or Nuna seat. ... show more

Great car seat! The installation was easy as long as you look at the directions for the latch system just a hint make sure the blue piece is unlocked to pull them. The cushions are great making for a comfortable ride for baby not thin like other brands which is one of the reason I purchased. The extra leg support helps for extra safety.
