We Love this seat. I was a skeptical because my baby, a year old had not slept on a ride in the car, only cried almost every single minute of the car ride. Now we’ve had this seat a few days shy of a month. Since day one, THE VERY FIRST ride in this seat and she slept in the car, no fussing, not a tear shed. Every single ride since she has fallen asleep, no fussing, just babbling and comfortable…and that’s even with it being a hotttt summer in Minnesota, no air conditioning in the car as it just went out and not an easy fix/needs replacing. Baby is still happy!! And I’m so happy I bought this seat. I bought a color that was a little less expensive in the selection but in the car seat brand selection this one was a little pricier… I am glad I gave it a try as the return window with this company allowed for a good run to see how it performed. We will be keeping this seat and would re-purchase again and again. This is my third child, each child has hated the car. Now I think it was the issue of the sear as the problem and not the actual riding in the car. Also, we are still rear facing so it wasn’t the fact that baby had been turned forward, as to the fix in crying spells. I have two boys and a girl now… they all hated the car. They all have been nursed exclusively and attached to mama so, I thought that had something to do with it but now I feel like the comfort in this Maxi Cosi car seat must be like mama’s arms or even being held in the carrier/similar feel. The straps are just better placement around the shoulder and thigh. The head rest holds well while little one is riding/resting. The magnetic chest clip is superior!! The way the shoulder straps hold up and the way they are formed and how it lays on the collar/chest is way more comfortable for baby. She literally smiles and chats when I say “let’s go on a car ride!” And she happily loads in while I clip the straps in place. It’s really amazing. I don’t leave reviews for products purchased ever but I felt led to do this one with other struggling parents in mind. It really is almost too good to be true but I’ll gladly take it!! Life is better with this seat!! We actually love the blue color too!! Looks so nice and worth the price!! Last note is that it’s an easy seat to put in the car, easy to adjust headrest/back of the seat. Perfect right out of the box! I hope this helps someone! ... show more

So, I'm not sure but it looks like I paid full price for a car seat that had been previously purchased and installed. Like maybe it didn't fit in their car or something. It arrived taped back up in a box that looked open and wasn't wrapped in plastic. There is no user manual and I saw, what appears to be, some light scuff marks where someone tried to thread the seat through the front facing holes. I really need this seat for an upcoming trip or I'd consider returning and purchasing directly from maxi cosi. I dont mind open box items when I am getting a discount, and only bc it doesn't look like it was ridden in will I keep it. For the price I expected mint condition in plastic, brand new. It has the barcode to scan for information so maybe that's why no booklet, but no plastic?? Scuff marks?? Come on. To the good part. My large for his age 9m was ready to get out of his Nuna pipa lite and I just couldn't stomach spending the $550 for their convertible seat even though I love that brand and the rava. Like a lot of reviews, ours arrived with a very harsh chemical smell. However, I put it through the wash twice and it was fine. No smell anymore. I would have washed it once anyways. We love the car seat and wanted the same for both vehicles. The one we ordered first from a different distributor did not smell. My daughter is 3 and loves her seat. So much that she has figured out how to unbuckle the magnetic chest buckle. This is a convenient yet highly inconvenient design flaw as one could imagine.

The car seat is great. My grandson loves it. He is 20 months and it fits him. I thought it would be a problem when it came to washing it but it was a breeze. Taking the cover off and putting it on was so simple. I recommend this car seat to anyone.

I bought this last June for my son once he outgrew his infant seat and I must say I’m so happy I bought this one. The color is a chef’s kiss for anyone who loves nudes. You cannot beat the comfort. My son actually prefers this car seat over the Graco one we got from Costco for him for his Grandma’s car. It’s super easy to clean, super easy to adjust, like tbh i can’t say enough good things about this car seat. The only negative is that last year when I purchased this I did so at full price and now it’s almost $100 less. Salty about that but everything else is perfect in my opinion. ... show more
