We love the Maxi-Cosi brand and this car seat is consistent with their other products. One new thing that we like about the design is the magnetic clip. There are still snaps so it is not easily going to detach, but the magnet feature attaches the two sides so quickly it saves us a minute or two. Of course the swivel is a GAME CHANGER! My child was so happy to switch from the baby carseat to this seat. It is so comfortable! She doesn't put up the fight that my other kid did when he was this age with a non-swivel seat. The install took us less than 10 minutes. I've seen some people complain about the base being loose but I think that is because they had it flipped backwards. I can agree the instructions could have been more clear but since we have been installing carseats for many years, all we had to do is play with it and figured out what made sense.     • Fantastic car seat with a major learning curve

Installing this car seat for the first and even second or third time was challenging for us. But once we got the hang of it (and doing it properly), we have no complaints. EXCEPT, that if you have two of these (or any toddler car seat) installed on the outboards of a bench seat, installing them can be very tricky because of the way you have to rotate the car seat to lift the seat out of the base and access the belt path for installation. Lifting it out with another toddler car seat on the bench can get very tight, and wonky as the emme does not have proper space to rest out of the base while you install seatbelt if there’s another car seat on the bench. If you only have one car seat or an infant seat on the bench with this one, it’s a non issue. Additionally- the swivel feature will not work fully if there is a car seat installed in the seat directly beside this seat. With that said, we have two toddler seats on a bench seat and have made it work. With proper installation the swivel works perfectly for us. We have never had an issue. My child is incredibly happy and comfortable in this seat. I would absolutely buy it again. ... show more

    • Terrible - avoid
This Maxi Cosi Emme 360 was great in the beginning when my infant transitioned out of an infant car seat, but as he grew, this was clearly not it - really disappointed for the premium price point. By growth, I mean only from 1 year old to 2 years old. The body pillow seemed to be a last minute band-aid fix, which pushes my child forward 3 notches on the bottom seat belt setting. This means that the bottom seat belt setting has already been "maxed out" just by nature of the use of the mandatory body pillow alone in rear facing. My child is not big enough to meet minimum forward facing requirements, so we are in a catch 22. Furthermore, we noticed that the bottom seatbelt harness is not long enough to accommodate for the forward push by the body pillow, so the sharp plastic on the seatbelt clips dig into my little one's thighs even at the looser end of strapping him in. What he ultimately does is he tears off the cupholders (which comes off quite easily) to give his legs a little more room and the pain of the seat belt clips digging into his thighs. Also, the turning function does not truly "lock" forward facing or rear facing in place. You can turn the seat even without pressing the release latch... which I can't imagine is truly all that safe. Avoid this car seat - terrible all around for what you pay and shame on Maxi Cosi for not recalling this product given how half-baked and bandaided this Emme 360 was. This is the last time I buy anything from Maxi Cosi and will look to/recommend other brands to our friends/family. We are getting the Chicco to replace this seat and another Chicco for our 2nd in the future. ... show more

We bought this car seat for our granddaughter when she was 9 months old. Our granddaughter is 4 yrs old now, she still uses this car seat, and it’s still in good condition. Based on my granddaughters years of using this care seat I can agree that this car seat is super comfy, durable, safe, the fabric seat cushion is easy to remove and wash, and it’s presentable.     • Love the ease of the chair, rotating sucks
I absolutely love the ease of the buckle and the comfort of this carseat! I have had maxi cosi in the past and loved it which is why i went for this brand. I have the hardest time getting this seat to rotate though. Getting the button all the way in to be able to turn the seat has been hard, at least for me. Love the seat but totally disappointed in the rotation as thats why i spent the extra money on this seat! My back hurts and if this function was easier to use i would recommend it more but its pricey and hard to rotate. The seat is comfy, easy to wash, but all maxi cosi are so no need to buy this one for those feature. ... show more

don’t listen to other reviews this is the only one you need. After contemplating this & the nuna revv for $449 this is the seat. Super cozy! My son loves it! Why would I spend $650 on a 360 seat when it won’t grow with him!! This one is perfect! You have to read the directions!! This will only swivel in full recline! So to everyone like it doesn’t work .. it does.. keep problem solving I swear it works!! I wanted to get the most experience w it before leaving a review, the color way .. chefs kiss, the straps however need some work & I need to figure it out as my child is huge! I love it!
