We purchased this sink to go along with our new granite kitchen counters. We absolutely love this sink, it's huge and very deep. We haven't found a dish, pot or pan that doesn't fit into this sink. The sink seems to be very well built, with a lot of noise deadening material around it. When knocking on it's sides it doesn't sound hollow. Just be sure to measure your sink base to make sure this sink will fit, we have a 36" sink base and by the time the mounting brackets are secured there isn't much room to any side or front to back. We were going to use the flip out false drawers for sponge/drain storage but this sink is so huge those wouldn't fit. Oh well, with this much sink we can find somewhere else to store the sponge/drain. The bottom grid is very nice to have, it took a little time to get used to as we didn't previously have one of these but can tell this really saves us from abusing our pots/pans on the bottom of the sink. Overall we are very happy with this purchase. (However I must note this sink does not have magical properties as some reviewers have mentioned. When I put dirty dishes in at the end of the night and come back the next morning they're still dirty. My wife reminds me of this whenever I try to experience the magic.)

The design is beautiful, just as advertised. For some reason, this sink developed rust spots not even 2 weeks after installation. I tried Barkeepers, etc., as Ruvati advised and although it minimized the stains, the spots remained. I communicated with customer service multiple times; they started off very polite, but eventually got annoyed that I persisted and faulted the counter installers, based on absolutely nothing, stating they must have had mishandled the sink as their sink is infallible in quality. No one's products are ever fail-proof. The spots showed up 2 weeks *after* installation so blaming the poor counter installer is just unprofessional at best. I had a Blanco sink for 6 years and 14 years before that in another apartment. I regret trying something new. I cook, bake, and entertain a lot. I generally wipe down after each project -- my sink to countertops. I've never had any issues with Blanco sinks - they were indestructible. Only reason I went with something new as I could not find the exact dimensions needed and my previous sink was now too large from my repaired kitchen. My experience with my Ruvati sink has been laborious and painful; extremely disappointing. If I had known how precious and high maintenance this sink could be, I never would have purchased it! Maybe it should come with some sort of disclaimer so customers can decided appropriately. Obviously, *not* a crisis given we have a... global pandemic. I know others have had great experiences as I read all the review prior to purchase! Wish I were among them. Good luck.

I purchased this sink a couple months ago but just had it installed with my new countertops this past week 2/25/21. I read the reviews prior to buying it and having it installed. With the reviews in mind, I paid a fair amount of attention to how things were with my old two basin sink. I listened to how the water sounded as it was pounding against the empty sink and how well it drained with liquids and food scraps. Reviews that I read said that this sink doesn’t drain well and people were having to spray the inside quite a bit to get scraps to go down the sink. While I’ve noticed that’s fair to say about this sink, it was the same with my two basin kitchen sink. This Ruvati sink has exceeded my expectations so far. As great a distance the faucet is to the bottom of the sink, it is very quiet. The insulation helps deaden the noise of a running faucet far greater than my previous sink and while I do have to sort of wrangle food scraps into the drain, it’s not much worse than my previous smaller two basin sink. You’re always going to find differing opinions on everything. Some people are going to say it’s great and some are gonna say it’s the worst sink ever. My truth lies somewhere in between. I’m sure there are better sinks out there but for the amount I spent on this, I think it’s a pretty good buy. It’s a kitchen sink, it’s main purpose is to wash dishes in and it serves its purpose well. It’s not going to win you the best kitchen award but it works for what it was meant to. I also have a 40lb French Bulldog that fits in it perfectly for bath time.

This sink is rocksolid. It is manufactured well, it is packaged and presented well, it installs easily, and is extremely impressive. We purchased the sink for our vacation home to go along with our granite countertops. Immediately following installation, we placed another order to purchase the sink for our primary residence. Even though our primary residence doesn’t need a new sink, and the one we have is only three years old, we will be replacing it with this modern piece of perfection :-) Wow! That’s all I can say. The granite company, once they saw the sink, could not believe what I paid for it and how well it presented itself. From what I understand, the granite company will be reaching out to the manufacturer or a distributor to begin providing an option for the customers to have this sink be installed with your new granite countertop. I will say that I am one of the most demanding consumers on the face of the earth… Seldom do I grant 5 stars. The sink is the exception to my rule. Please, I would encourage any consumer looking at this sink, to consider this review. This company is incredibly well suited to deliver such excellence. ***please pardon any typos in this message as I am speaking into my phone to reply.
