  • Quality bed your child will love.
Style: Low Loft + Staircase Color: Grey
This is for the staircase version w/ no slide. If you've come to the review section to research whether or not you should buy this, I'll sum it up for you: DO IT! I read through pretty much all the reviews prior. You can tell a lot of folks who have had issues probably have no business putting something like this together, and want to blame the product for their incompetence. One lady was complaining about how wobbly the assembled bed was, and you can literally see in her review pictures how loose all the screws were 🤦♂️. Don't let the negative reviews chase you away! First, leave yourself at least half a day to put this together. There's A LOT of pieces. Second, take time prior to lay everything out by number (see pics). All pieces are labeled w/ a little sticker. Seperate and count all your hardware too. These two tips will prevent major headaches. Third, DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS!!! You're dealing w/ solid wood here, and there's a fine line between too loose and too tight. I put blue threadlocker on all the bolts to prevent loosening over time, and would suggest you do the same. Lastly, take your time with the instructions. They're all pictures, and are easy to interpret with a little patience and/or common sense. My only other recommendation would be to ditch the mattress support slats and use a slab of 1/2" thick plywood instead (see pic). 74⅞" x 39⅜" gives you a perfect fit. We used a 5" memory foam mattress as suggested by the manufacturer, and you could feel the slats underneath. Not so w/ the plywood. Overall this is a quality bed, it's sturdy, and our child absolutely loves it. The staircase steps are wide and not too steep, making for easy entry/exit. Having space underneath for storage, etc is wonderful too. Great investment! ... show more

  • Way Better then my Expectations
Style: Low Loft + Slide Color: White
The installation is hard but definitely durable and great quality. Easy and comfortable to go up and down from slide. The slide a bit steep for toddlers are new to walking. Bit heavy so you need 2 people move it, and need 1 person with a lot of patience and planning to install. I messed up towards the end with the metal rod, FYI install the metal rod before installing the centerpiece. I learned it the hard way by uninstalling, using wrong screws…and so on. ... show more

  • Sturdy and easy to assemble
Style: Low Loft + Slide Color: White
Pros: 1. 90% of the stickers labeling the parts were placed in areas that will be covered when you're done assembling. No need to remove them! 2. All the holes were drilled perfectly straight, so no frustrations aligning things while putting it together 3. The instructions were good at clarifying which screws to use and not to use 4. The packaging was super efficient and individual pieces were carefully wrapped. No shipping damage 5. Overall a very easy experience compared to the blue and yellow brand's flatpack kids loft bed Cons: 1. The ends of the frame are hardest to put together. The vertical slats wobble around, so it's hard to get all the pieces to align and slot into each other. Be careful determining which direction the pieces should fit in this step—the instructions try to clarify this, but they're picture-only, so look until you understand. It can be confusing because despite the pieces being numbered, they don't distinguish between left or right, which actually matters for the headboard and footboard sections. 2. A couple of my pieces came with residual wood glue on them. I got the white frame, so it's not very noticable, but still a little annoying to find. 3. All the materials were very good solid wood, but then they cheaped out on the mattress slats! I don't mind them being made of plywood, but my slats were slightly warped, splintery, and the predrilled holes to secure the slats to the sides of the bedframe had tear out in the top layers of ply. I ended to doing a round of sanding to smooth everything out. I think it'll be fine with our mattress, but the spacing between slats seems a little wide (came with 7 boards), so I would've liked 1 or 2 boards more for extra support. In the end, I think this is a great bed with a couple of assembly gotchas. ... show more

  • Perfect height.
Style: Low Loft + Slide Color: White
We do love this bed, but some of the boards were damaged and you can tell the company did a botched job fixing it. For us, you can't really tell, since we covered it up with lights or fabric. If you can over look these imperfections, I say go for it! We do love that it has a center metal support beam. We didn't use the ladder or slide, we only bought it because it was the cheapest offer. Does not wabble, but we did add wood glue to keep everything a little more sturdy. ... show more

  • Solid, but needs to be attached to wall.
Style: Low Loft Color: Clay
Easy to put together, great instructions. Once together my kids were so excited about it and were rolling around etc. it was definitely a bit wobbly. I screwed it into the studs in the wall in two places (through the side rails by the mattress) and it was rock solid. Not tough to do with a stud finder and screws of appropriate length. Highly recommend this additional step or I fear it would wobble itself loose after a year of kids being kids on it. ... show more
