  • Sturdy
Color: Clay Style: Low Bunk + Staircase + Slide
I purchased this bunk bed for my kids and they love it. I was iffy about buying it from Amazon but the material and sturdiness did not disappoint. My kids call it a cool bed so it was not hard for them to leave our room and sleep on their own. My husband was able to build it all on his own in one day. This bed is the perfect size from the top bunk to the floor. It’s not too high in case an accident was too happen. ... show more

  • Good bunk got 2 kids
Color: White Style: Low Bunk + Staircase
I downsided to an apartment and this was our choice for My 2 and 5 year old. We got them the Zinus 6 inch mattress (twin) and fits great. My only complaint would be I thought there would be more storage. It has just side shelving, not really so much place to store away many things especially some touching the floor. But so far it's sturdy and looks good. ... show more

  • Takes two to set up
Color: White Style: Low Bunk + Staircase
Be prepare to take hours on assembling it. Will need two people. The stairs are more difficult to put together than the bed frame itself. We went with this bunkbed because we don't plan on having this for long term, maybe 2-3 years. I have a 5 year old at the top and a 2 on the bottom. So far (one month), the bed has held up well without any bowing or bending, though I wouldn't trust the top bunk enough to climb or lay on it nor would I allow any of them to jump on the bed. Bottom bunk headspace is too short for the 2 year old to stand completely straight up, which is fine by me. It discourages jumping. The wooden rails on the top bunk aren't the sturdiest. They're strong enough to stop the 5 year old from rolling off the bed but I've also seen it wobbling as my 2 year old test its limits by vigorously shaking it. ... show more

  • Kids love it
Color: White Style: Low Bunk + Staircase
Took a while to put it together and wish there was a little wall or something to stop my little one from going from steps onto the bottom bunk, but the kids love it!

  • Have a LARGE workspace, a partner, and kneepads.
Color: Grey Style: Low Bunk + Staircase
This is a gorgeous bed once assembled. I love it (morning after), my husband loves the way it looks, and our daughter has dubbed it her "castle". We gave it a 4 star because assembly isn't easy - specifically, getting the slats to stay in place during assembly. This would have been easier if I was not 8 months pregnant and if my partner were in better shape. It took us 8 hours total to assemble because I didn't pull up the YouTube video. That was a my bad moment - the instruction manual pictures can be a teensy bit unclear in some areas for the bed portion. 5 hours of this was the bed itself, 3 hours was our daughter trying to help me by playing with the hardware while I assembled the stairs. Both of us were working on the bed portion together because the long pieces are difficult to assemble alone. We put one side together with first a single side facing the wrong way (it was also upside down but didn't know that yet) and then had to pull apart the side again to flip the two posts. It's the far corner (the one without the stairs)...so it of course has 14 vertical slats which are loose during construction of that side. I really REALLY wish those dang slats for the bed portion at least were glued or fastened in by the manufacturer, but also understand this would make the box bigger which costs more on shipping....raising costs of the item. Big things with this: Use the paper directions as a backup/confirmation of parts list - watch the YouTube assembly video 6-10 times during process. Don't overtighten the staircase during assembly - check and ensure snugly tightened after stairs are fully assembled. Don't open both boxes at the same time for the stairs/bed - or keep the pieces separate. Have an electric screwdriver available for the self-tapping screws, it'll save you time on your back/side/knees with the brackets that hold the stairs to the bed. With the brackets, line up staircase then attach to the bed side first - attach to the stairs with the stairs clamped to the side of the bed tight to get a good snug fit. WATCH the Youtube video lots and be careful when standing up not to bend your toes the wrong way. Have someone available to keep your small child busy so they don't play with your bolts, screws, tools or the smaller pieces because they're excited and want to be a part of this/help you. ... show more

  • Twin over twin, with ladder
Color: White Style: Low Bunk + Ladder on End
I bought the white, twin over twin, low bunk, with the ladder on end. It’s very sturdy, solid pine wood. The bed did have a few minor imperfections. I would still buy it over again. The ladder came first, then a couple of days later the bed arrived. My only concern would be the design of the top rail assembly that is next to the ladder. My kids tend to grab on to it when coming up the ladder. Over time I can definitely see it becoming loose and unsafe. I love the height of this bed. My 2 and 4 year old climbs up and down with ease. I started to buy the bed with staircase option, but given the height of the bed, I decided a ladder would work best for us. With a higher bed(non low profile), I would’ve chosen the staircase option. We bought twin size mattresses from our local retailer. They fit perfectly. Best of all, our kids love these bunk beds. ... show more

  • I wish I’d had this bed as a child
Color: Grey Style: Low Bunk + Staircase + Slide
Not only was this bed easy to assemble (recommend 2 people) but my son is over the moon about his new “big boy” bed that has a slide! Con: during assembly of the stairs, pieces 13 and 14 are mislabeled. 13 should be 14 and vice versa. I hope that helps someone avoid the confusion. Overall, awesome bed! ... show more
