This took me, a 36 year old woman with ZERO patience, about 2 hours to build the bottom bed and 45 mins for the top by myself. Built the full size bed one day, and built and added the twin on top the next day. Sturdy, although I’m going to add additional slats and a bunkie board under the mattresses. The verticals slats in the headboards and footboards are securely in there, but they do move in place slightly. My 5.5 year old has no issues with the ladder. Looks great now that it is assembled. Assembly instructions are awful. I had to go on You Tube to see how to put the entire bed together. Also, it takes two people for several of the steps. Quality of product is a 10 though.

Well made and fairly easy to assemble. Paint seems to be durable and well applied. SAFETY NOTE: This does require follow up tightening ALL the screws periodically so save the included tools and dont neglect this step. Fairly easy to assemble. Made of real wood instead of fiber board. Everything fit together snuggly, paint is good, no issues with assembly. Need a second person to help put top bunk on bottom bunk- but other than that the assembly can be done by one person. Bed is stable and strong enough to hold an adult in top bunk and on ladder.     • Horrible quality
The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research into different bunk beds and landed on Max and Lily as it was said to be higher quality materials. I didn’t mind spending extra thinking I was getting a better quality bunk bed. These beds are HORRIBLE. They move so much. I have a 6 year old and 4 year old both under 40 lbs and the whole bed move and jiggles as they get into bed. It seems so unsafe and at this point I wish I had purchased traditional twin size beds instead of this bed. After I started having this problem, I read even more reviews and apparently this is a thing and you’re supposed to tighten the screws once a month. Which I can’t image doing as there are so many. Would not waste your money on this purchase ... show more
