If you don't, get that friend of yours, who actually owns some decent tools, and give them a "nice gift!" when they are done! OK, so why only 4 stars? SQUEEEeee... eeLLLL....Eeeellll....!!!! From the initial order at Amazon.com, receiving email confirmation from Max Advanced Brakes, confirming my 2001 Lexus RX300 AWD fit and receiving the brake kit (all the way from Canada to California), it took less than a week. Max Advanced Brakes customer service is very responsive and helpful as well. I first ordered the kit with Carbon Metallic Brake Pads. Then I realized that I only need the basic Ceramic Brake Pads. I contacted the customer service via email. They immediately emailed me back with the instruction. The process was easy and smooth for me to cancel the Carbon Metallic Pads and order the Ceramic Pads. Upon receiving the packages - they were in 3 different packs - 2 front disks, 2 rear disks and 8 brake pads, I took the packages to my mechanic. The whole kit is a perfect fit to the 2001 Lexus RX300 AWD - no modification needed at all. After the installation, I took the vehicle to a safe place to perform the break-in procedure. It's been 2 weeks with the new brake kit. Everything is going well so far, firm stop, no vibration, no noise... Only time will tell. I think Max Advanced Brakes deserves a 5-Star, unless I have negative experience in the future, which I will update my review and rating. ... show more
