I love this conditioner! I has an amazing coconut smell and gives my hair a healthy shine. A little bit goes a long way so the bottle lasts me for awhile. I use the shampoo also. In my experience, I find that a lot of shampoos/conditioners give me split ends, however, this does not which was a nice surprise! I use this exclusively now. I really like the shampoo and conditioner but really wish they would re-design the bottles. I have a hard time squeezing it out when it gets close to empty, and I can’t get the cap off to get the last bit.

Using this and the matching shampoo does seem to leave the hair with more body than other products. I initially used it while staying with friends and these were in their guest shower. I liked them so much I snapped a pic of the label and tracked them down when I got home. And I am glad that I did. It is a bit thicker than other similar products. After literally years of searching, this conditioner (and the shampoo version) are the answer. I moved to a more humid place and found my hair was getting straw-like, coarse and tangly, even just the morning after washing it, every year from spring through fall. My first thought was more moisturizing treatments/masks/etc, but nothing helped. Finally, after several years, someone at a salon told me it could be a buildup issue from silicones. That was totally the case! It's oddly hard to find shampoo and conditioner that work well but don't have any silicones, parabens, etc. and are vegan. But once I switched over to this (and added a chelating shampoo every once in a while to strip buildup) my hair finally went back to normal! Plus, it smells incredible. To review my experience with this product, I will be separating my commentary into two sections. The first section will talk about my overall experience with the sealing and packaging of the product. The second part will focus on the overall experience of the product itself, did the product satisfy me as a customer, and if I recommend it to others. I was very excited to purchase another product from the Maui brand because my first experience with this brand was excellent. However, I was a little disappointed this time. The sealing and packaging of this product were very disappointing, first thing in the morning I open a resealable packaging envelope from my porch and there was a strong coconut scent coming from inside. Turns out the conditioner had spilled all over the packaging material so now I can't use the resealable packaging for a return. Some of the product had spilled all over the envelope AND the bottle itself. It was a mess to get the product out. I had to run it through some water to get off all the spilled product off. When I unscrewed the cap off, I noticed it unsealed quite easily. The sealing of this conditioner is horrible! By the looks of it, this problem is quite common for this specific product. As I looked inside the bottle it seemed I had lost a good 2 to 3 oz of the product due to the packaging and sealing mess. The reason why I decided not to return this conditioner after the packaging mess was because of the wonders it did to my hair. It usually takes me around 15 minutes to untangle my hair without using any conditioner, however, after using this product, I saw results right after the first brush! My usually dry hair was so smooth and so moisturized it was hard to believe! Not to forget the wonderful fresh coconut scent that made it all too worth it! Would I personally recommend this product to others who might be interested? Indeed! Though purchasing it through here... not so much. The sealing of the product has not been properly made to withstand the product going from truck to truck, facility to facility. I do not wish to suggest others to resort to in-store purchases since we are in a pandemic, but for an occasion like this one, it's best to grab this product off the shelves when going on a grocery run. ... show more
