I've been dealing with a very dry itchy scalp. Went through a lot of shampoos, conditioners...then thought...maybe its the mousse. I like the stiff feeling to style my hair. Well, this one is soft, feels like nothing is in your hair. BUT I love it so far. It helps to style; think it would be better for someone with curly hair; but o.k. on my straight. Doesn't seem to build up as others do, light scent. Comes as a pump/foam. Would suggest to try, especially if you have dry itchy scalp like me!!! Love it!! ... show more

I used it to keep my hair neat and it did a decent job. Also has a light scent. I didn't quite like it but I kept the rating at 4 stars because it did was it was supposed to. What I didn't like was that my hands felt sticky whenever I moved my hair out of the way. It wasn't quite what I was looking for. I do like that it uses more natural ingredients at least. This product has been my go to for a while now for my curls. I try other products and find myself going back to this one. It is inexpensive, lightweight and smells really good. The only thing I don't like is the feeling it leaves on my hands when I am done, they are a little sticky. For the price and the results, i highly recommend this product ... show more

    • GOOD but not moisturizing FOR ME

I loved several things: pump foam not aerosol. A non-crunchy decent not fabulous curl & I used plenty. So I'll use this even though I've had creams that did better on curls, like the OLD formula Noodle Head. It didn't moisturize at ALL, although I wouldn't expect a mousse to. But it didn't dry either & thats important in a mousse. It also didn't make my hair feel sticky or dirty afterward & I used it on the roots, as directed. I used their whole flaxseed line on 62 yr old dryish long curly hair with some frizz, brown hair with blond bleached streaks on the ends. The curls look decent not fantastic bec of this, my head is very clean feeling & smells good but still the same mild frizz as usual & still dryish, my norm. I think it needs more flaxseed or something like it. This mousse from a pump bottle was one of the better mousses I've tried as I look for frizz free curly volume in air dried hair.
