I have a lot of black bags and wanted something different for travel on a summer vacation. The contrasting ivory white and cognac brown color make it look very high end, and the woven strap in coordinating colors gets so many compliments. It's also a great feature that the cross-body strap can be removed and replaced with a shorter strap, which is exactly what I did for evening use with this bag, for a slightly elevated appearance. I purchased a separate shorter strap with claw clasps and it worked perfectly. The construction seems to be good quality and possibly durable for at least a few years with normal use. The various pockets help to keep things organized, and the wide strap make it very comfortable to wear. The exterior front flap pocket is perfect for my phone and sunglasses, and the rear zip pocket holds a small mirror and lipstick or hair ties. The inside is nice and deep, so I can carry a wallet plus a small sunscreen and reusable shopping bags, or even a rolled up hat. One thing I noticed was that when I overstuffed it, as I tend to do for day trips, it gets a bit tougher to use the front flap pocket. So happy with this purse. With the nice organization pockets and the size is wonderful. I chose black, it is a dark black color. The strap is very nice too, I use it as a cross over and the ease of the straps is nice as it doesn’t get tangled. Very durable material.
