Color: Matte Black With Spool
I normally only use Bambu Official PLA, and I prefer printing in Bambu PLA Matte Black (they call it Charcoal). I was down to my last half roll, a lot of printing to do, I had lost track and not ordered more which is on me. I knew within 48 hours minimum that roll would be toast so I went to order more. Bambu was sold out. Found it on other after market sites but it was full retail, no free shipping, and would take 3-5 business days to arrive. Saw this on amazon, read some reviews, why not give it a try? The next day some new rolls arrived, same day that half roll was toast. Starting printing using this "MarsWork PLA Matte Black". First I did go ahead and order with the spool just to see how their design worked, and it works great, quite a bit better than the Bambu spool to be honest. No RFID is annoying but hardly a big deal, MarsWork literally says just call it Bambu Filament and it will work, ok. Other than the spool clearly being a slightly different design, visually, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between this and Bambu Matte Black. So set it to Matte Black in the slicer, did some prints on my Bambu P1S. Well you saw the rating already so spoiler alert, it printed flawlessly. It is matte, it is black, the color is good. The only issue is it is very slightly lighter in color than Bambu Matte Black. I paint my prints so at the end of the day this is not a problem for me. It may make an extremely small difference in finished color tone but it will be small. The PLA is also a teensy bit shinier than Bambu Matte PLA, it is still Matte though make no mistake. So... nicer spool with a great locking mechanism. Yes, just setting it to Bambu Matte and correct color worked with no further tweaks. Print quality was great, zero print issues. Oh it also costs less than a Bambu refill even if you buy it with a spool.... and without... heh.... Also amazon prime free shipping and it was next day, to say that beats what you get from Bambu direct is an understatement and a half. Yeah I think I will be switching my filament provider.

This filament is top notch. Came in a sealed package and was able to print right away. No issues with printing . Has the notch in the spool to go right on a Bambu lab spool. Would def recommend buying .

Honestly.....great product. I appreciate being able to get higher quality matte PLA without a crazy price. The stuff from elegoo that is the same price is of a much worse quality. This stuff definitely smells more than other PLAs. Great for my purposes and ill stock up on more. However, the spools have more tangles than i usually experience. id pay a little extra for no tangles.

Update** I have to edit my review strictly based on my customer service experience. I reached out to them about my trouble and they replaced my roll. I should've taken partical fault in my experience seeing how the roll should've been sent back from the start. When I got it it wasn't vacuum sealed at all. Now that could've been from the factory or mishandling at the warehouse. I've very pleased with their CS team and the support they provided. It means a lot when companies stand behind their products. I've had this product exactly 1 month and it has crumbled into a million pieces. It's so brittle 1 touch and it breaks. I'm not sure why it's so bad but its unusable.

Color: Matte Black With Spool
This stuff is garbage. I have had 6 breaks on 2 out of 4 rolls I have tried. You get a reusable spool. That is the only positive. Do not buy, it will ruin prints. If it didn't break, it has positive traits. It does adhere. The color is fine. It strings a little at times. If it finishes a print it seems like it could be functional for everyday use.

I have a print farm that runs Bambu printers. We try to use 100% Bambu filaments but Bambu can take forever to ship sometimes. We always go with MarsWork when we need something fast. Other than the RFID tag, the colors are an exact match to those Bambu offers and the spools look "suspiciously" similar....almost like Marsworks makes some of Bambu's filament.

The worst filament I've ever used. I will be glad when it's gone. Straight from the package this was brittle, sometimes breaking off multiple times during a print. Because of this filament I now know how to take all the parts of my machine off. We heat with a woodstove, so the house is incredibly dry, not a humidity problem. And I know that red can be brittle, but not like this. The color is the only positive thing I could say about it. It's a really fabulous red. Not worth it!
