Features

  • EASY TO PRINT - Matte PLA produces a premium matte, low-gloss frosted finish that gives printed objects a virtually invisible layer line. Matte pla filament has higher strength and better toughness, is less prone to breakage, has low shrinkage, and does not distort
  • NEAT WINDING FOR BETTER RESULTS - 1KG 3D printer filament spool with perfect roundness and very tight diameter tolerance, good winding, no overlap or tangle. Good meltability, smooth and consistent feed, no clogging of nozzles or extruders
  • DIMENSIONAL ACCURACY AND CONSISTENCY - Advanced measurement procedures during the manufacturing process ensure that these matte PLA filament 1.75mm have tight tolerances. A diameter of 1.75 mm and dimensional accuracy (98%) of +/- 0.02 mm ensures consistency and accuracy from print to print

  • A Solid Choice for PLA Filament Printers
This is a great PAL resin. I had no problems with it, running temperature, flow, and accuracy tests (including Benchy). Adhesion was excellent. I chose Grey as I expected it to show up any flaws much better than most other colors, making it a good choice for prototyping. In printing one object I found the internal fill setting was telegraphing to the surface, indicating I had specified too few solid top and bottom layers, marring an otherwise great print. The reel came shipped in a heavy gauge plastic envelope that showed the vacuum seal was intact. The reel is plastic, not cardboard. That's a tradeoff as cardboard reels can cause filaments to catch on the rims, but means the reel isn't all that easily recycled once empty. ... show more

  • Not worth the purchase be cautious if you do buy
(copy and paste from my review of the grey filament I purchased same problem) I'm sorry to say but this stuff sucks I tried everything to try to print with it and it doesn't want to stick to any of my build plates it might be cheap price but the quality is just as cheap I bin trying to print for the last 5 hours trying different temperatures on my nozzles and my beds different speeds and I've had no luck with it I bought a rainbow filament from another company and that prints perfectly fine on default settings I can't figure out why it doesn't want to print and stick to the bed at all when these other filaments I have from other companies work just fine without any real calibration it's ridiculous if you want to spend the $13 I suggest buy one roll and see if your machine even takes it but I wouldn't bother wasting your money this could just be my experience with it but I got 3 colors in total a red and black I tried printing with the black and it was the exact same results so again buy at your own risk and wish better luck to you then I had ... show more

  • Great filament if you tweak the filament print profile
Color: Pla-greenery
Bought Soleyin Ultra PLA many times. I am happy with the quality for the price. It is true that the filament performs poorly when using standard/default print profiles. But once you spent the time to tweak the profile, after trial and error, you will find the best profile that works for you. And then it will be perfect printing every time. For me the issue is never about moisture level - from 10% to 50% it all works just fine. I've never had clogging issue. Maybe I'm lucky but so far it seems fine. I did have poor bed adhesion issue due to under-extrusion on the first layer. Slowing down the first layer speed to 30mm/s (including infill) and increasing the first layer flow rate to 1.2 resolved the issue. Setting fan speed to 50% for first layer also helps a bit. For other layers I use 270mm/s with flow rate of 1. ... show more

  • Good filaments
Color: Pla-yellow
Good cheap alternative to inland (micro center) PLA filament. The color is vibrant. The print quality is good. I did not have to dry it before mounting to my printer.

  • Very sticky
I’m very new to 3d printing, having just acquired a Prusa Core One. Starting out, I stayed in the Prusa ecosystem by using only filament sold by Prusa. This stuff was my first material that wasn’t Prusa. It seems to print really well but boy, does it stick to the build plate! I ruined a Prusa build plate (one side) prying off various prints. I don’t blame the filament exactly. I should know how to handle this. The best solution so far is to turn off the heated bed. I took away one star for the sticking. In my mind, I’m kind of grateful for the opportunity to learn. ... show more

  • I have 3 words for this filament; "Save yourself a headache and buy some other filament.. "
I've only been printing for about six months, but in that time I've been aggressive. I bought a cheap used printer that the seller said worked "just fine", when it in fact did not work "just fine..." It caused the learning curve to be a vertical wall. I knew I needed some sort of software to get a model into a format that the printer could understand. I bought consumables and replaced and fixed and tightened and all that. I replaced the glass bed with a textured magnetic one and got rid of all the glue and goo. I learned so much and printed so many things! Life was a dream, and then I purchased this filament. If I could give it less than one star, I would do that. This stuff is less than stellar. It doesn't lay down right and won't even stick to itself. I had a print fail because it was coming apart, and I pulled on the end of the filament that it had laid down and my print unraveled like a sweater that was just being knitted. And yes; I tried feeds and speeds and extrusion temps and bed temps and all that... I even had the same friends that fixed my aunt's knee with Facebook prayers send them my way for this, but it did not help. This stuff is two thumbs down in my two thumbs rating system. Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself some trouble. ... show more

  • Worth it
So I know the price is off putting but this brand of filament has been great so far. It can adhere a little too well to the plate so definitely would recommend glue sticks for any prints that have a large surface area on the bottom. I'm using generic pla settings on my Bambu A1 and the standard texture plate and all has been good. I've been using this brand for a mixture of things from cases to cute things and none has disappointed yet. The colors are fantastic and it's really great for printing large things for thebprice. ... show more
