The material looks like it will hold up long term. I like the heights and width. I didn’t want to add sand or rocks, I added 3 -16.9oz water bottles in each bag. I used on a camping trip to secure my ARB awning poles while on a hard surface and no way to use guide straps. I can remove the water bottles and fold up weight bags and store in the camper without mess and weight.

Used these for our canopy tent on vacation last summer. There was a few days with high winds on the beach and these held up very well. They were such a big hit that one of the other families we were staying with ordered some on Amazon that week! I would say my favorite thing about these is how light and portable they are. One tip I read in some reviews is to fill sand up in gallon zipper bags instead of filling directly into the bags themselves. I did use this tip and it worked well. I would like to add that if you are going to do that make sure to put the gallon bags inside first or just fill up half the bag and place into in the hole. The hole at the top is too small for an entire gallon bag of sand to fit into. Other than that, they work great. Highly recommended!

We bought these to hold our 4-legged canopy onto the sand at the beach. We filled them almost to the top with sand and the canopy withstood some very stiff wind. These are worth every penny to us.

Such a perfectly simple design, particularly useful at the beach (sandbags and all) where winds can surprise you and the stakes don't do anything. 15-20lbs per corner ... plenty. On aggressively windy days I did notice one back corner lifting and settling and lifting (about 1 inch) and I was only using 2 of the 4 (sharing with neighbor canopy). Great concept.
