The first one I bought was defective. The screw knobs that held the face cradle unit in place were stripped. Amazon was great, they authorized a return and sent me a replacement immediately. Which I appreciate. The only reason I bought this was to have something comfortable to use to be in a face-down position all day for my recovery after eye surgery. We could never get this unit positioned in a way that worked for me. It did fit my husband better but just didn't fit me even with the chest pad removed (which because of my ample size, got in the way of me being able to sit in a face-down position while sitting. It would probably work fine for massage, since the face cradle would be at a different angle. ... show more

I bought this for recovery from retina surgery. Had to keep my face down for 5 days. Even though it was hard to do, this item made it much easier. Comfortable material. Set up instructions a little confusing but simple once you know how.

My wife had retina surgery and had to stay face down for 2 weeks. This was a life saver because it fit onto the bed and then could be used on a table so she could be in a sitting position part of the time. It is well made and easy to use and adjust moving from bed to table and back.
