This pen style tattoo machine was a lot smaller than I expected, which I find much better suited for permanent make up applications. In operation, it's quiet and performs well. One battery may be limiting which is a large reason why I don't recommend this for large tattoo applications but highly recommend it for PMU. Note that it does have a RCA battery so you can use it with a remote power supply if the battery dies (if you have the power supply).

The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need once you’ve gotten past the beginner phase of learning how to tattoo. There is a limited supply of accessories, as once you get to the point where you’re ready for higher-end tools, you probably have a surplus of the consumables. Also, it is rotary capable for expanded usage time. The pen itself is a slim-line. It is easy to hold for long periods, especially if you have smaller hands. This pen is much closer to the feeling of regular drawing, which helps me keep much better control over my lines. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different kits now. This kit includes everything you need, including 20 cartridges. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun is more involved than others I’ve had, with more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). It’s a slim-line pen, which is much easier to grip and maneuver if you have smaller hands. The included practice skin also helps get a feel for the way the machine works as compared to others. Also, who doesn’t love wristbands? I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. The included ink is a deep, rich black and holds in the practice skin well. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. This machine was easy to grip and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone in the intermediate phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Low on consumables, but a great value when you take into consideration the value of the pen and power supply alone.

The kit boasts a powerful motor, and the machine itself feels well-made. However, that power might be a bit intimidating for a true beginner. It seems like a machine better suited for someone with some tattooing experience, rather than someone starting from scratch. Dabbling in at-home tattooing with a powerful machine like this seems like a recipe for disaster (and potential scarring!). While the kit includes the machine, needles, and a practice skin, it doesn't come with other essential supplies like ink, stencils, or proper cleaning solutions. For someone who truly has no experience, having to track down all those extra supplies could be overwhelming. The biggest concern for me is the safety aspect. Tattooing requires proper sterilization techniques and a clean environment to minimize the risk of infection. Honestly, replicating a professional tattoo studio's sterile setup at home seems nearly impossible. Unless you have a medical background and are trained in proper hygiene procedures, at-home tattooing with any kit is a big risk.

Mast Tour2 Tattoo Gun Kit I have a Mast Tour Fly machine. I thought that was a remarkably thin machine, but this machine tales the crown! This is now by far the thinnest machine I have used to date! Not the shortest, that distinction goes to the Dragonhawk Tour Y23 Pen . This machine is also the lightest machine I own; with the machine itself (with no attachments) weighing in at a scant 2.1 ounces! The machine performed well during tests. It may not be an ideal color packer, but it certainly is capable of performing the task; as well as any which your own artistic style may call for. The battery supply's power from 4 – 12 volts to the machine. The battery did run out after a short period, but rather to be expected for it's small size, to the machine's credit it does come with a RCA jack, so I was able to plug it into my corded power supply and continue without any problems. This kit includes only one battery and does not come with a corded power supply, so you may want to invest in one. … Personally I prefer working my machines through a corded power supply. I feel the foot pedal gives superior control, pausing the machine for more ink and getting back to work is much easier, almost intuitive. The whole tattooing experience seems more fluid to me when using the corded power supply. To myself, the small size of the machine makes it a good choice for a traveling tattoo kit This machine is a keeper! 4.5 stars. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible
