Mast Tattoo Rider Pro Wireless Tattoo Pen Machine Very pleased with this machine I can recommend this is worth a try for a daily driver or a back up to your stable of machines! The machine has balls! I’ve pushed a 13 mag along w some fat liners and other needle configurations, so I could review it! The battery holds the charge for a good long time after a few sessions it’s hardly gone down, I haven’t run out in the middle of a job yet. This machine is pretty fat in your hand which to me avoids hand cramps, it’s easy to flip around any which way for different angles that you wanna work on a job. It has a nice adjustment for the needle depth. It’s easy to spin it right up to support any needle depth you’d like to work at. I’d say it’s very good all around machine. I’m really happy to have it and I really cannot think of any negatives. I think it’s really unique just for the stubby profile of it, and it feels good in the hand I’ve worked with coil machines for years, and I enjoy working with this machine as well and many of the pens, but this one really stands out for how compact and how versatile it is. I pack color with that. I’ve done black and gray, tribal as well with this machine they’re really making a name for themselves. I have a few other of their machines and they’re each unique and run very nicely. I do tattoo professionally so that’s my professional opinion really find this machine, enjoyable the cartridges seat as they should, the machine has balls always turning it down lower than some of my other machines. I really like it. it Could be a handful for a beginner, but why not start off with a good machine and learn right from the top, again I also said that I’d recommend it for a back up or a daily driver and I do stand by that, highly recommended!

Yes, Mast makes some really super tattoo gear. This tattoo pen does not disappoint, and it comes from a long line of successful tattoo pen models. It's another jewel in the crown. I love everything about this tattoo pen... with one exception. More on that in a moment. This is a beautifully made, and fantastic running tattoo pen. The materials are all top notch, as is the motor. The pen will run with a wide working voltage range from 4.0v to 12.0v. Impressive. The grip is to my liking, as well, as the sides are parallel, and it allows you to create an even thicker grip using tape and paper towels. You can make this baby FAT! The pen is not only smooth throughout it's range, but it's also quiet. A pleasure to work with. The top of the pen features a digital LED readout showing battery charge (right side), and also the working voltage at that moment. Incremental adjustment of the voltage is great, in tenths of a volt. Nice. So here is the one thing I don't like about this tattoo pen by Mast: The battery is fixed, and not interchangeable. This is a problem for me, as it means one would need to switch to another pen altogether should the battery run out of power. Other tattoo pens being offered by various manufactures have similar "one piece" designs (battery and pen, all in one unit) but have been able to offer a removeable battery, or a screw-on/off type battery pack. It's just better, in my opinion. Don't let me dissuade you from trying out this amazing little tattoo pen. It really is fantastic. I'm totally a fan of this one (with that one little exception).

I purchased this for my boyfriend who is a tattoo artist of 12 years. Here is what he had to say about the machine: I’ve had mast machines before, and I am extremely disappointed. I used it for one tattoo, and I will be returning it because it doesn’t work properly. The machine hits inconsistently. I had to go back over lines because it was too thin or too thick. Needless to say, we will be returning this item and are disappointed by its performance.

I am just practicing right now. But this tattoo gun is nice and sleek. It is easy to hold, and it’s not too heavy or too lightweight. I definitely like it. It is really sleek looking and I like the digital display as well!

I think it belongs at $100. 4-4.5 hrs of run time. Battery is fixed so no changing batteries. The positive and negatives are backwards. Look in the picture w/ the buttons. Wrapping the machine sucks. The threads are at the middle of the machine and are small so bagging from there is a no go. You have to tape it and bag from that point. Good liner, quiet and low vibration. But if you’re gonna spend $200. I’d find something else.
