I've had this machine for a few months and so far it's one of the better of the mast models. I have small hands and the wide grip/weight has been doing wonders for my hands. They don't cramp up with this machine- usually the center of weight is an issue for me. The battery not being a twist off has also been a really nice change. Overall, this machine is smooth and can handle hours of work. I don't usually run it over 7.5 and it's perfect for soft greywash and fine lining.

this is a really solid little machine. the form factor is easy to hold if you have smaller hands. its still got the thickness for a comfortable grip but isn't as long. i really like the kit as it includes 2 batteries, both of which have a nice display. they readout isn't too small even for my older eyes. they also include two different mast cartridges which work great. overall this is a perfect beginner set that you can actually use for tattooing and not just practice.

It works but I don't think it works any better than the one's I have that were much cheaper that included everything this one does, I don't know if it's because of the gold color that they're priced higher than the others. The ink however isn't the greatest as you can see from the tattoo my husband did on me. The tattoo pen itself could be a little bit more powerful but it will do the small jobs, just get better ink.

You really need to try this tattoo pen to appreciate it. It's extremely compact, and it has a unique, and interesting shape. It also won't roll off the table. I appreciate that. The pen is very attractive, in a gold color with a bright red ring at it's center. It has a very large digital display that is excellent, and located at the top of the pen, facing you as you work. It has 3 button operation, which is simply & intuitive to use. The working range is 4.0v to 12.0v, and it's very smooth and quiet throughout. I think the feel of the grip is good, though not my personal preference. It's certainly thick, and can easily be made even fatter. The pen has a stroke lenght that maxes out at 3.6mm, which is not all that impressive, but the maker claims this is actually the equivalent of other pens with a stroke length out the 4.2mm. A charging port (USB-C) is located at the top, and the integral battery snaps on & off, easily. There is a second battery included, as well as a cap that has an RCA jack to run off of AC power. There is also a USB-A to USB-C charging cable included. Really a super nice, unique pen. This is a real departure from conventional design, and if you're seeking something distinctive, this may be the thing. I think it's a very good value, but possibly a bit pricey for a beginner. Outstanding pen.

Our tattoo artist uses Mast machines in his shop and recommended them to us as well. I thought this looked like a fantastic machine and I wasn't wrong. Mast is a trusted brand that makes great quality machines. This pen is "mini" so a little smaller than others they've produced while remaining thick and easy to grip. This machine is great for someone just starting out and the kit comes with a lot of the items you need to get started. It's easy to understand and use and comes with two batteries. So no need to worry about cords or wires. And unless you're doing really long tattoo sessions, it's unlikely you'll run out of battery power between the two. I'm really pleased with this brand and this pen and highly recommend it.
