If you need a new machine, this one is it. The stroke levels make whip shading a breeze, etching tattoos feel less attacking of my wrist after hour 3. The two batteries is an amazing gesture. So for starters I have absolutely zero knowledge about tattooing, what a good machine is and how to use them etc…. Anyways this is my very first tattoo machine I’ve ever purchased and the one I got was the flip black kit. The kit came with pretty much everything you need to start tattooing beside like a transfer gel for transferring the tattoo to the fake skin but you can just use speed stick deodorant it works just as well from what ive heard as well as done as you can see in the photos. Included in the kit was: the machine it’s self as well as the two batteries, 10 cartridge needles which were 5 liners(1203RL) and 5 what I think are shaders(1205RM-1), 2 USB cables, 1 RCA cable to hook up to the machine and make it wired but they did not provide a power source for connecting the RCA cable, 16 ink caps(8 large and 8 small), 1 pair of gloves, 1 fake skin, 1 sheet of transfer paper, 1 semi roll of grip tape, 1 15ml bottle of triple black ink, 2 rubber band looking things(no idea what it is), and 1 extra stencil sheet with pre-made stencils that you can apply right away. Overall, everything that came with the kit looks good. Some minor issues I had is the batteries look like they’ve been used because the screens have a bunch of scratches on them, the stencil paper when transferring onto the fake skin was not fully transferring at first. There were point where the skin also was not taking the ink. I would use the machine to go over a spot of the stencil on the fake skin and the ink would not show on the skin but it only happened on a couple small spots. As for creating the stencil its self you might need to actually have the thermal printer for it to come out great. I tried hand drawing a stencil and the hectograph ink was not transferring to the stencil paper. If you’re having this issue I found that if you place the paper with the stencil sheet up with the hectograph paper being the second she it does transfer better or if it’s a small stencil you could place the regular paper on the hectograph sheet itself and trace your image and it’s transfer pretty well. One last complaint is if the company provides a RCA cable then maybe they should provide a power source with a door pedal or something….just a thought. Other than that everything seems to work fine. The machine itself is not loud and does not vibrate a whole lot. The batteries work and seem to last awhile which is a big plus. Overall, as someone who just decided to buy a tattoo machine just to see how it works I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to just try it out or is a beginner when it comes to tattooing. ... show more
