Features 5

  • FAULHABER BRUSHLESS MOTOR — THE HEART THAT LASTS: Powered by the Faulhaber brushless motor built in Germany — the same German motor trusted in high-end professional tattoo machines. Up to 3.25 mNm torque holds steady under heavy packing. 79% peak efficiency keeps the body cool across back-to-back sessions. Rated for 20,000 hours of working life — that's roughly two years of full-time studio use before you'd even need to think about service. For artists who put down 8-hour days, this is the motor that doesn't get in the way of your craft.
  • DUAL HOT-SWAP BATTERIES — THE SHIFT THAT DOESN'T STOP: Two 2500 mAh batteries included. Long-session runtime tested in our lab; actual run time varies with voltage, stroke and skin load. Slide the depleted pack out, slide the charged one in — no tools, no screws, no powering down. USB-C charging from a laptop, power bank or car charger keeps you topped up between clients. When your fourth appointment of the day is a five-hour back piece, the last thing you want is a dead pen mid-shading.
  • 215G CNC AVIATION ALUMINUM — BUILT FOR THE LONG SESSION: One-piece aviation aluminum body machined on a 5-axis CNC, finished with 220-grit sandblast and black anodize. The grip sits in the palm — balanced where it counts — so the weight doesn't drift to your wrist by hour three. Low vibration at the needle keeps clients relaxed on the chair and your hand from going numb on long black-and-grey sessions. Light enough to forget, solid enough to trust — the body disappears, the line stays.
  • DCV/Hz DUAL-MODE WITH 3-STAGE GIVE — ONE PEN, EVERY STYLE: Switch between DCV constant-voltage mode (4–12V) for clean lining and even packing, and Hz e-give mode for smooth shading that tracks your hand speed. Three force levels — Soft (80–110Hz) for gray wash and whip shading, Medium for daily lining and shading, Hard (120–150Hz) for bold lines and color packing. Five voltage memory presets let you save one setup per regular client and switch between them in a tap. From fine line to bold traditional to saturated color — without swapping machines mid-session.

MAST TATTOO HERITAGE — A PEN THAT TRAVELS WELL: Backed by a 1-year warranty and Mast's artist-first support team. Compatible with all standard cartridge needles — no proprietary grip lock-in. In a community thread we came across, one artist who switched from a high-end German pen to a Mast machine reported running 1 hour 45 minutes on just 15% battery — a useful real-world data point, though your mileage will vary. Also makes a thoughtful gift for a fellow artist — the kind of upgrade you only buy for someone who'll actually use it. ... show more

I'm very impressed, this is my new favorite machine.
Size: 2 Battery
I had just picked up the flagship machine from another company, and I was in love with it. I have the Mast Racer 2 Pro as well as the Flip 4, this machine is absolutely worth every penny. There's one feature in particular that absolutely puts this in a league of its own. This feature is the ability to adjust the grip without it turning the position of the cart. The machine is built so when you insert the battery, the screen lines up with the light up M above the grip. You can insert the cart however you prefer it (for instance I like my opening in the cart to line up with the screen of the battery). From this point, you can adjust the grip and your cart won't change its orientation. It doesn't move, and I don't know why this hasn't been on every machine. Also, underneath the grip are 4 lines. Once you get things dialed in, it's extremely easy to get it there again when you swap carts. The cart not moving with the grip alone, along with the markings and everything being fast and simple to dial in is worth the upgrade alone in my opinion, but there's so much more. The motor is amazing, the 4.2 stroke has such a high torque that it easily pushes whatever I've thrown at it, even a 1025CM or a 1218RLLT, this powerhouse has no issue. You can choose between HTZ and Volts, with HTZ dropping so low it does dotting from 1 strike, allowing you to do anything any way you feel comfortable. It doesn't lose that torque as you drop speed, allowing for stipple shading so effective you can saturate doing so. It has 5 programmable pre-sets for each mode, giving you 10 total. Just remember to change the impact from soft, medium or hard. So you can set it for your different methods, it's the one thing that doesn't save and change when you switch pre-sets. I loved the machine I got right before this. If I'd never used the Archer 3, I'd be happy. As it stands, I'm finding it incredibly hard to pick up my other machines. Being able to adjust my grip without the cart turning is just so awesome once you use a machine that does it there's no going back. I have a machine in this price range and a machine that was over $400. I like this better than either one. I'm a buy once, cry once type. This machine is absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the money. Also, if you see my machine cover, it is a Mast product, works on any machine I've tried it on, works the best and is $10 for 50. They're definitely worth the money. I left a video review as well as a few tattoos I did on myself. I always try any new equipment at home on myself in my practice area before I take it into the shop and use it on a client. I think if you're a professional this machine will meet any needs you have, and stands up to everything I've thrown at it. The motor is amazing and award winning, the machine is a tank that can really give you a quality reliable machine that's the best I've owned. If you're just starting off and know you're going to stick with it, get a machine you'll never have to upgrade. ... show more

Great tattoo machine , really packs in the ink
Size: 2 Battery
Mast archer 3 ultra tattoo machine , Iv been using this tattoo machine for a few weeks and so far Iv been happy with its performance, The design of the tattoo machine is very comfortable to hold and I can tattoo for hours and not have any issues with my hand . This machine has a lot to offer many modes to choose from , volts mode and hertz mode with soft medium and hard mode , stroke is 4.2mm so works great for outline work , iv been using hertz mode on soft and medium for shading and it’s been working great, the machine is very quiet when running and no vibrations issues, very stable running machine and really packs in the ink well . This tattoo machine comes with 2 batteries so you can tattoo for a while , iv been averaging about 3.5-4.5 hours out of each battery, my biggest con about this machine is how the batteries connect to the machine, it’s very tight fitting and takes alot of strength to disconnect and reconnect , I wish it went in simpler without any resistance. Very easy to wrap the machine up to keep everything sterile and clean , outer metal construction is lightweight and durable. Overall a very reliable tattoo machine that packs in the ink well , this will be my go to machine for long while . Great value for the money!! ... show more

comfortable, quiet, and versatile tattoo pen with great performance
Size: 2 Battery
the pen is lightweight, well balanced, and comfortable to hold during long sessions. the aluminum body feels durable and well made without being too heavy, and the machine runs quietly with minimal vibration. i also find that it packs ink consistently and provides good control, which is important when working on detailed designs. i really like having both voltage and hertz modes, along with soft, medium, and hard settings. the 4.2 mm stroke works well for outlining, and i have had particularly good results using the soft and medium hertz settings for shading. the adjustable settings give me plenty of flexibility for different styles without needing to switch machines. the two included 2500 mah batteries are another big advantage. i generally get around 3.5 to 4.5 hours from each battery, and being able to swap them helps me avoid unnecessary interruptions during longer appointments. my biggest complaint is that the batteries fit very tightly and require considerable effort to remove and reconnect. a smoother connection would make the machine much more convenient to use. the overall build quality is impressive, and i appreciate that the metal body is easy to wrap for maintaining a clean work area. considering the performance, comfortable design, versatile settings, and two included batteries, i think this machine offers good value for the money. overall, this is a dependable and versatile tattoo pen that has worked well for me. the battery connection could be improved, but the quiet operation, comfortable grip, and consistent ink delivery make it a worthwhile purchase. i would recommend it to tattoo artists looking for a capable machine without spending considerably more on a higher priced model ... show more

I'm never disappointed when it comes to this brand, it's become one of my favorites
Size: 2 Battery
I’ve always really liked this brand for my tattoo supplies, so I was really excited to finally try this pen. I had looked at a few similar models last year but ended up waiting, so I was definitely excited when I finally got this one. It runs incredibly smoothly, and the motor is so quiet. There’s also very little vibration, which I really appreciate when I’m tattooing for longer periods. It feels great in my hand too. It has a nice weight to it without being heavy, and the balance is really good. It feels natural in my hand and doesn’t make me feel like I’m constantly adjusting my grip. I also really like having the two different modes. Switching between the presets is easy, but you can still adjust outside of the presets when you want more control. I like having that flexibility depending on what I’m working on, whether I’m doing lines, shading, or packing color. The battery life has been excellent so far, and having two 2500mAh batteries is a huge plus. Being able to swap batteries is especially nice when I’m working on a larger piece because I don’t have to worry about stopping in the middle of a tattoo just to charge the machine. Overall, I’m really impressed with this pen. It’s comfortable, well balanced, quiet, and smooth, and I really like how much control it gives me. I waited a while to try this one, and it was definitely worth the wait. ... show more

Simply impressive. Consider this an upgrade!
Size: 2 Battery
Holy….. cow. I’m honestly so taken aback by how AMAZING this machine is. It puts my other Mast pens to shame. And let’s not even compare it to my cheap beginner pens. This wouldn’t be my first choice for beginners. If you’re just starting out, practice with a cheap machine or kit first. I’ve been playing around with tattoo guns for a few years now, and definitely burnt a few motors out along the way. The Archer3 Ultra is a solid choice for artists who have been doing this for awhile and are looking to upgrade their wireless machines. It features a German made Faulhaber brushless motor. This beast is so quiet, so smooth, and consistently holds up well. I love the clear display and options for 5 voltage presets. It has two impressive hot swap batteries (2500mAh) so you can achieve a super long session without worrying. It’s fully compatible with all cartridges. I don’t even mind that it doesn’t have adjustable stroke lengths (it’s set at 4.2mm), it has a nice chunky grip and feels weighted, without causing hand fatigue. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis, but it hasn’t created a flare up of symptoms. Beautiful machine, impressive motor and batteries. I can’t recommend this enough! ... show more
