Summary I love Mast brand tattoo machines, and this one does not disappoint. I love the beautiful design, with the band of color changing lights. But my favorite part is the screen. The colorful display really helps to distinguish the different information shown. This pen is fatter than I prefer, but that’s just me. Lightweight and wireless. Runs smooth and has low noise until I go to a higher voltage, then I start to feel a very slight vibration and some noise but not annoying or anything. This is compatible with all sizes of cartridge needles. As with most pens, twist the barrel to adjust the stroke length. Super easy. Uses type-c port for charging, and a cord is included. I love the storage case that’s also included. **Power Button Usage** * Power on and off - press and hold power button for 2-3 seconds * To pause and start again, quick press the power button My final conclusion is this is a very good tattoo pen for smaller tattoos. Great little gun, likely the best wireless option available at this price. The motor is excellent with minimal vibration thanks to its brushless design, and it maintains a consistent stroke. The adjustment range is somewhat limited but still manageable depending on your technique. This gun runs very smoothly, at this value point, it's honestly probably the best you are going to get when it comes to a wireless gun. The motor is pretty much flawless with no extra vibration (brushless) and the stroke is very consistent. The adjustment range is a little narrow, but still very workable depending on your style. The battery life when using full wireless is pretty good and it doesn't really get that hot even though I've wrapped it in tape to make my own grip (the cylinder hurts my hand on all these styles of guns). My one critique is that there is not really a need for the RGB lights, they're cute I guess, but I'd rather divert that energy to battery any day versus showing off some little lights. ... show more

The brushless motor is really quiet. I turned this little gem on and could barely hear it running. There was very little to no vibration. The aluminum housing seems to be very solid as is the finish. It does not look like an inexpensive model. This is very good quality machine work. The illuminated light was a nice addition. The "breathing" cycle is entertaining. The addition of a soft case was a really pleasant surprise. The pen is held in a this plastic clam shell that's a bit too flexible. It is functional but may collapse over time. It does however provide good storage space underneath for the USB C charging cord. The voltage control buttons are easy for me to manipulate even with surgical gloves on. The flats on the end of the needle cartridge holder actually made gripping more comfortable for me. The battery lasted close to eight hours and it charged up relatively quickly. The only drawback is that the battery is internal, but charge time isn't too bad. I love the look and feel of this and would definitely recommend it. ... show more

What I absolutely love about this pen is that it came with a case. The other mast pens I have do not have this. However, I do feel like this pen is a bit louder than the other pens I have from MAST. Even on 7, and no cartridge, the sound is noticeable. You can also moderately feel the vibration, too. I don’t think this is my favorite pen because of the motor and lack of flexibility to adjust the throw; however, it is still a nice pen. ... show more

I love how quiet this machine is. It makes for a much more pleasant tattoo experience. I also really appreciate the case the pen came in. This is the first pen I have gotten that actually had it's own protective case. I love the protection it gives my machine. I get very little vibration using this pen. It is steady and feels comfortable in my hand. No more hand fatigue from heavy traditional type machines. Super nice machine. I really have no complaints with it.
