As a 39 year professional tattoo artist I'm well pleased. If ur new to this let me help u with 2 important facts. 3.5mm stroke is excellent all around machine if ur only gonna use one. Also direct drive is always what u want. This is both. If u wanna step ur game up get a 4.2 mm stroke direct drive. Like the (archer s) or the original archer 4.2. The original was 3.5 with a 4.2 mm option. I own all 3. I shade with 3.5 an line/color pack with 4.2

This is a nice tattoo machine to start with if you're trying to learn. It runs smooth and even comes with extra grips. The shoe it comes with isn't the best thing to practice on if you plan on tattooing human skin since it's so thick. I also love that it comes with so many cool stickers! Obviously I wouldn't use the ink on real skin, but as practice it works well. It's very pigmented and loads into the cartridge with ease.

I absolutely like this tattoo machine! It's very quiet and simple to use, it comes with everything you need to get started tattooing, however, the fake skin that comes with the kit is paper thin. The fake skin on the left hand side is the one that came with the kit. Other than the fake skin being unusable I 100% recommend this kit for beginners.

Very high qualify machine. Kit includes beginner supplies to start practicing. Used on fake skin, filling in colors was much easier when compared to lower qualify machines. No issues with the massive battery running out. Not being able to switch out the battery would be a concern of mine if this was my only tattoo pen machine, but that did not come up during my practice. Instructions also noted that it can be used "wired" but plugging in the charging cable but I am weary of using it this route. Machine is easy to hold, control, and produces good results!

The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need once you’ve gotten past the beginner phase of learning how to tattoo. There is a limited supply of accessories, as once you get to the point where you’re ready for higher-end tools, you probably have a surplus of the consumables. Also, there is an option to run the machine while attached to the USB-C power supply, for added versatility and no-gap usage time. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different kits now. This kit includes everything you need, including 20 cartridges, though they’re all a single size. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun is more involved than others I’ve had, with more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth and 3.5mm stroke, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). The included practice skin also helps get a feel for the way the machine works as compared to others. I still don't feel confident working on actual skin of others, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in or cleaning up some decades-old tattoos on myself to try it out on actual skin. The included ink is a deep, rich black and holds in the practice skin and real skin well. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. It didn’t include pen bags, but again, once you reach the level where this kit would be beneficial to you, you probably have a surplus of bags. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the old tattoo and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch. It even brightened up a patch where I’d scratched too hard on the original tattoo and the ink looked faded. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone in the intermediate phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Low on consumables, but a great value when you take into consideration the value of the pen alone.

I've learned a lot about tattooing since getting this, including inevitably an appreciation for the skill it takes to do even the most basic things, like drawing a line and controlling depth. This machine doesn't include a lot of instructions, so you will have to go online to find that, but once you get a sense of what you need to look out for, it appears to include many of the basics that someone who has no experience will appreciate. I was able to practice tattooing the included silicone shoe in no time, using just the supplies in here. I'm very far from attempting to do it on a person, but my journey has begun thanks to this kit!
