Great sub love it ive had one of the old hippo 15 and sold it, i have the new gordo 18 in my vitara right now!! crazy bass just massive!!! Now ive got this hippo 8 in my swift. Ive learned along time now that massive audio subs cannot take the power that they say they can and thats strange becauae their cea compliant!! Idk if its because i ither use different amps and not match with their own or i build by boxes too big. Any ways knowing this i always turn my amps down a bit I expected a little more out of this sub tho because ive installed one of the olded models in a chrystler 300 and it took the power well had that on a vibz 600 and the customer still has it 5 years now!! Mine on the other hand im putting like 800 watts to it and i smell it on every rap song!! Once the bass is rappid and i turn up i smell it, it might still be breaking in, idk but i smell it!! Other than that sq is awsome, price awsome, power rating not so much, I think if massive audio under rated their subs they will have more down customers. ... show more
