    • This is really solidly made.
I have other bee homes that are really cheaply made and falling apart after months of outdoor exposure. And the manufacturers ignore any compensation or replacement of their products. This company manufactures a solid wood product that also has some weight to it.

    • No bees live in it.
I thought this was very attractive and we were looking for a solution to our wood boring bees in our shed so we hung it near the shed and no bees have moved in moved in months later. That's not the manufacturer's fault but but it was recommended as a solution a solution for Wood boring bees.

Since honey bees are practically non existent I am trying out this hive for the Mason bees. I just put it up hope to have it filled with residence soon. The Mason bees were all over the our crab apple tree and we need pollinators for the garden. I wont have results for a few weeks.
