Used this as a mid party costume switch to get outta the heels and make up and bondage type outfits... these were perfect!! For reference, i am a 5'7" female, weigh 140 lbs. My friend is about 5'3". We were afraid we were going to have to cut the robes to wear them based on prior reviews. They were fine. Just wear all black under. And they aren't table cloth from the dollar store... Very fun as a basic or starter item for a costume. The cape is good quality for the price. The mask was very good and fun to wear with the lights.

cape is thin and super long. Mask lights up good but has a strap that is not adjustable. makes it very uncomfortable to wear if you wear glasses. Would not purchase again.

Great value for the money. The cloak with attached hood is roomy and has tie strings at the neck. The mask has a wired control/battery pack with a belt clip. There are 4 modes for the mask lighting that is controlled with repeated pressing of a single button on the battery pack; solid on, slow blink, fast blink, and off. The downside is for people with longer noses. The mask has a foam pad at the forehead and is held in place with an elastic band. However, my nose is slightly flattened because the flat skeletal nose of the mask. Other than that, I give it two thumbs up. ... show more

    • Two tweaks will make this perfect.

Only two minor quibbles which are easily fixed. First, the skull mask (which is nicely bright and creepy) has no place for your nose (because it's a skull). There's a foam pad for the forehead to push the mask a little bit away from your face, but there should be one more where the chin is. I added one and it instantly made the mask 10 times more comfortable to wear. Second, the cape is REALLY long! If you're 7 feet tall this will be perfect for you as-is, but otherwise it's a simple matter to trim it to the length that works best for you. This is definitely worth the 24-ish dollars I paid for it. I'll use it next year too. ... show more

First of all the box smelled like weed, as did the costume when delivered. The cape is adequate for a 5 ft 10 in 200 lb male. The mask has scratch marks on the front. The lights in the mask do not work at all. I tried changing the batteries but still no go. I believe the costume was previously worn and returned. I would have returned it if I hadn't waited until the last minute to order a costume. Definitely NOT worth the cost. Amazon is getting harder and harder to trust with regard to quality. ... show more
