  • Great
Size: 20" x 26" Adjustable
Exactly what I've been looking for. I changed our my adjustable glad desk to a wood and metal desk. Since the new desk couldn't adjust I had to search for a adjustable/portable drawing stand. It seems the standard is to have rust lip at the bottom of the board which I really don't need since I use my own wrist rest for sketch books and my wrists. This drawing board what the perfect solution in size and portability. Although it is awkward to move it around and doesn't seem like lists going to take dings to the edges or corners so well. I don't like the idea of wrapping this in and out of a mover blanket everyone I need it or put it away. But I'll need to figure out something in order to make this last since this was a hefty investment. From the reviews I read I got lucky with the shipping, it was packed very well. I was kinda expecting it be damaged but, it wasn't. ... show more

  • Way Too Heavy! ฅ₍ᐢ ›̥̥̥ ༝ ‹̥̥̥ ᐢ₎ฅ Plus I'm weak!
Size: 20" x 26" Adjustable
The media could not be loaded. It kinda sorta works as intended and arrived in near perfect condition, there was a slight imperfection out of the box, but nothing too terrible. Sadly, I wasn't a fan of the clasps that were placed on this by the manufacturer. Even though I tried using them I didn't like how they would leave marks on my projects. Luckily my professor isn't as strict about the creases/dents, but it still doesn't look good to turn in work like that. Another thing, In my case, is that the sketch board is also a tad bit too heavy. Currently I'm recuperating from a sprained hip, and since this thing has some weight to it I've been unable to carry it in my backpack that doubles as a portfolio. Although, even when I was in a more functional state, the weight was still a bit too much for me. In the end I think I'm better off sticking to using the brown wooden sketch boards they offer us in class, since those are much more light weight and easier to maneuver when injured/when you're not as strong as others. So I've decided that I'm going to be returning this sketch board, but I don't think it was all that bad... it just wasn't the right product for me. ... show more

  • What you need to know...
Size: 20" x 26" Adjustable
Bottom line: Getting an unbroken product is a gamble. Mine arrived completely destroyed and I had to return it. Keep reading for the full review. ------------ My usual practice when writing reviews is to start with pros, then cons, then an overall assessment. I also like to speak to customer service or tech support before giving a negative review. In this case though, I thought a different approach was merited. CONS As stated by others, the main thing wrong with this product is the potential for it to arrive damaged. While the company has corrected some of its packaging problems by adding styrofoam padding on each corner, the protection is still insufficient. My drawing board arrived completely broken across the entire length of the surface and up the middle of the top half between the clips. (See images) I suggest whoever is in charge of shipping look at how flat screen monitors and TVs are packaged. Or better yet, consider using something stronger than laminated particle board for the surface. Also, there is apparently no way to directly contact the company to resolve my issues and no prepaid return for those items that are destroyed in transit. PROS I like the design, despite the materials used. While I cannot fully test the item with the damage it sustained, I can say that the mechanism seems solid, the drawing surface is smooth, the edges are true (tested them with a t-square), and the six adjustments are easy to make. It is portable in the sense that it has a comfotable handle and weighs 10+ pounds, about on par with some old laptops. Also, the board itself, if undamaged, is perfect for a desktop drawing/writing station if you don't want an angle greater than 30 degrees. Available angles seem to be in 5 degree increments (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 degrees). OVERALL I would probably be happy with this item and recommend it to others IF it had arrived in one piece OR if I could have sent it back prepaid for a REPLACEMENT. As it is, it is a $70-100 gamble. If you win and it arrives in perfect condition, chances are it will be worth the price to you and you'll likely be happy with your purchase. If not, if you lose as I did, you will be disappointed. You will either have to repair it, throw it away, or gamble again by sending it back at your own expense AND HOPE the replacement is not broken as well. Or you can do what I ended up doing. Make your own board and RETURN this product for a refund with no replacement. You can then have UPS pick it up at your door and the driver will bring a prepaid return label. That was nice. Thus two stars, not one. Too bad really. I wanted to love this product. But customers should not have to gamble to get a good product. ... show more

  • Great product, bad packaging.
Size: 20" x 26" Adjustable
I read reviews stating that these drawing boards are packaged terribly and many people received damaged items but some didn't. Being that these drawing boards are the only design I like, I took a gamble and hoped that mine would not come damaged. Suffice to say, it did. The packaging is beyond terrible. The drawing board is placed inside a plastic bag, covered with paper and put into a box. Mine had a chipped corner and a broken stand bracket that holds metal stick that keeps the board at an angle. The center of the board itself was not cracked so I could still used it. The broken piece that holds the metal stick in place is the only thing that bothers me so we’ll see how long that lasts. Definitely not a product that’s worth 70 dollars, let alone a list price of 100. More like 40 dollars tops. If you’re going to charge 70+, the plastic pieces behind the board should be hard to break and more care needs to be put into packaging. Some styrofoam on the corners to keep it from chipping seems obvious but I guess not. I could return it but it’s just too much of a hassle to do returns on large items. Bad packaging aside, it’s a good design, it’s easy to move around as it doesn’t way anything yet it stays in place even when you lean against it. The size is just right. Couldn’t find any other drawing boards with this design. If you chose to buy it, know that there’s a good chance that it will come damaged, so you decide if it’s worth shelling out the 70 dollars. ... show more
