I’m trying to be more artistic as a hobby lately - Brush lettering and line drawing, etc. This set seems to have it all, from water colors, acrylics, chalk pastels, a variety of colored pencils, (you can read the product description). I was really impressed with the quality of the box and everything it came with. It was organized nicely and there were some bonus items I appreciated to help me quickly get started, for example the watercolor and drawing pads. I don’t think the paper is high quality, but paper is paper. I’m a beginner and I don’t need anything too nice yet. Back to the box, the quality is nice. It would’ve been nice to have some instructions on setting up the easel. That took a few moments to figure it out. I had to look at the Amazon photos to see how to set it up properly. Once I understood that the long stick wasn’t the “kick stand” everything started to make sense. Hint: The nuts and screws on the sides are supposed to lock the easel into place. I tried out the pencils, pastels, and the watercolor cakes and the colors are really vibrant and very pigmented. The chalk pastels blend really well. Oh! My favorite item is the water color brush that stores water in it! The tricky part was that I had to twist it in the OPPOSITE direction to open it up. Luckily the plastic is high quality and flexible and survived being squeezed and twisted really hard before I trying the other direction. All in all, I’m really happy with this purchase. I’d recommend it as a gift for a budding young artist or someone who wants to explore new mediums. Photos are of my cousin trying out the art supplies. She has an interest in art and had fun testing out everything I got in the box.

Finding a good art supply box is hard. Every piece of this box is fully removable. You don't want to house paints in drawer 2? Don't have to. It's not glued in. The drawers are latched in with an easily managable side latch, which is fantastic. The materials inside the box are also great quality--the ones I've tried so far, anyway. If you know a multi-media artist, or a beginner who hasn't specialized yet, this is a good fit. The only downside I'd give is that the easel isn't great for drawing/coloring (it's textured) but would be great for painting.

The closures are missing screws and are loose. Portability was a major reasons I chose this item.So I am little disappointed in this product, but other than that the quality is great! It is exactly what I wanted.
