Good cable, well made, and works fine. Do notice that the lock on the 90 degree cable end is on the side AWAY from the direction of the cable. Of course, this is the only way you could use a locking cable with the 90 degree bend, since you could never release the lock if it was on the side UNDER the cable, but if you have a specific installation where you need to cable to go the opposite direction from the connection (meaning you need the cable to bend over the side where the locking latch would normally be), then these will not work for you. You will need to find a different cable that bends the other way and does not lock in place. ... show more

I love how these lock into place. Only down side is there is not enough room for it to lock onto my new Solid State Hybrid Drive. This was not the fault of the maker of these its just a warning that the new drives are making the SATA port shallower so the lock will not engage. These still connect like normal to any other device or motherboard. Would and probably will buy more in the future. Have also advised others to buy these that are in the system building environment like I am. ... show more

These SATA cables with L shape hinge, were easy to plug in and replace my old SATA cables, in my "retro" childhood PC. Now the hard drives are no longer reporting as many errors. (those drives will be needed to be replaced soon I suspect.) They work as intended, but since they were plugged into an older PC, the speed of the cord is not important. ... show more
