  • Excellent Kneaded Eraser – Soft, Precise, and Perfect for Drawing & Shading ✏️🎨
This Faber-Castell kneaded eraser set (ASIN B01LYU5S6D) is a fantastic tool for anyone doing sketching, charcoal work, graphite drawing, or detailed shading. The first thing that stands out is the soft, moldable texture. It kneads easily in your hands, allowing you to shape it into fine points for detail work or flatten it for lifting larger areas of graphite or charcoal. This flexibility makes it much more versatile than a standard eraser. The erasing performance is excellent, especially for artistic techniques. Instead of rubbing away material aggressively, it gently lifts graphite, charcoal, and pastel from paper. This is especially useful for creating highlights, softening shadows, and refining details in drawings without damaging the paper surface. Another big advantage is the clean, non-abrasive behavior. It doesn’t leave crumbs like traditional erasers and doesn’t smear when used properly. Many artists appreciate how controlled the lifting process feels, especially for sketch layering and blending effects. The quality is very consistent and reliable, which is expected from a well-known art brand. The eraser holds its structure well but remains soft enough to reshape repeatedly. It also comes in a pack of four, which is convenient for keeping extras in your art kit, studio, or travel set. It’s also long-lasting when cared for properly. Instead of wearing down like standard erasers, it gradually absorbs pigment and can be kneaded clean again to extend its usability. This makes it a great value for frequent sketching or study use. From what many artists and users often mention, and what I’ve experienced here, the biggest strengths are the precision control, gentle lifting ability, and versatility for different drawing techniques. It’s especially useful for both beginners learning shading and experienced artists doing detailed work. 🌟 Summary This is a high-quality kneaded eraser that gives you excellent control for sketching, shading, and highlighting. Soft, moldable, and precise, it’s an essential tool for any drawing or art kit ✏️✨ ... show more

  • Great erasers if you work with charcoal or soft pencils
If you're an illustrator or simply a laymen working with a smudge-able medium, these kneaded erasers are a must. I recently transferred a pencil sketch using a charcoal rubbed backing and of course along with my sketch I transferred almost the entire surface area with a dusting of charcoal. This eraser not only removed 100% of the excess charcoal, it didn't leave a single smudge. The erasers are soft and malleable to shape for small areas and are overall a great size. It's an eraser so ease of use is a given. The price was worth it, and the seller was great with packing and shipping. No regrets, no complaints. ... show more

  • Still wonderful and useful case now!
Favorite kneaded eraser, picks up a lot of charcoal, graphite, pastel, conte crayon without tearing the paper. Also, lasts a long time before needing to be replaced or thrown out. Doesn’t leave too much of white mark on black or dark paper. Can still be decently formed into a smaller piece for detailed reductive techniques. It is a softer and more mailable texture than the Prismacolor eraser, which I like, but may not be for you if don’t like it to be too soft. Great for clean up on mat boards as well! Love that they come with a case now, to keep off any other detritus from who knows where. ... show more

  • Good Kneadable erasers at a good price!
Good quality kneadable erasers at a good price! I am an oil painter and I love these to remove the graphite from my canvas source sketch prior to painting.

  • Quality Kneaded Erasers
The original and they work well. Shapeable and they leave no residue on the paper. Just pull and knead them a bit to renew and shape for better use. Bought the 4 pack and promptly gave a couple away, the rest will last a LOOONG time.

  • It is always great for a drawing artist to have these erasers on hand.
These erasers are easily kneadable and erase very well. I like them for their standard size, and they leave no residue. There is no having to brush across drawings and possibly ruining it and causing more work. They last a long time. They can be shaped to get to small areas and erasing well. I even use it to make artistic marks from the graphite that is put down. Great price. ... show more
