I bought this for my 10 year old who has been using her bedroom window to trace pictures from other papers. This does the job! It is super thin and lightweight and the brightness is exactly right. The price was super affordable such that I felt it was worthwhile to get for my 10 year old who might ultimately break it by accident. It does need to be plugged in to turn on and the provided cord isn't super long so that's a little annoying but otherwise it works great. I love the size and the ruler markings along the side. I bought this to use for weeding vinyl. It works wonderfully. My only regret is not reading that it is not a rechargeable device. You must be connected to an outlet to use. This was an oversight on my part. I will probably look for a longer cord since it has to stay plugged in.

First the good. This has a nice, uniform white light that you can adjust the brightness of. It's a large size so you can fit most sizes of paper on it. Lightweight and easy to use/move. Now the bad. It has to stay plugged in. There's no internal battery, so you're limited to having to stay near a USB port or plug and A/C adaptor for however long your USB cable is. This would be an awesome light board if it was portable, but how it is now, plan on only using it at a drawing table or desk with USB access. ... show more

I was super excited to purchase this to use with my diamond art. The light works in 2 different lighting modes...a bright light & a dimmer light. However, it does tend change modes by itself when in use. This is frustrating because then you have to readjust the lighting several times while in use by lightly touching the power button. Just keep in mind, it will shutoff as your readjusting your light setting. My biggest problem with this product is that the USB charging cord does not come with a wall plug, therefore I CAN NOT take it anywhere, meaning it is NOT portable because unless it's plugged in, it doesn't work!!! ... show more
