I was given a four-foot tall "Lucky Bamboo" for Christmas and needed a very tall vase for it. I was a bit nervous about ordering this because it seemed fragile - However, it arrived in perfect condition and was packed very well. It's glass but it's heavy and sturdy so it was perfect for my bamboo.

I was changing the water for the first time and it was so thin in the middle of the vase that it shattered instantly when I was pouring out the water. Very disappointing.

Broke in half. If you don't fill it with sand/ shells anything heavy then maybe you can get away with using it. but it broke in half and the middle/ majority of the vase is paper thin. The top makes it look really thick but that tapers off quickly then gets thick at the bottom again. Why not have it remain the same thickness??? ... show more
