I chose this sofa as a "gaming chair" so my boyfriend and I could sit next to one another while we play. The frame is lightweight, yet can handle about 550lbs of sustained weight between two adults on it. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the backrest is a little uncomfortable. We have to use pillows. It also wouldn't be necessarily comfortable as a bed for a full grown adult without additional cushioning, but would make an excellent sleeper sofa for a lighter adult or child. Buy this! This sofa bed is sturdy and looks great, and its cushions are plush and soft! It is easy to assemble, too! This sofa bed is not long (I am 5' 6", so that's not a problem) and it provides a comfortable sleep. Listen, I love this sofa bed, it was a great buy!

    • Functional furniture
This futon is such a perfect addtion to our fifth wheel. We bought a used toy hauler in March of 2025 that was in great conditon. The only downside being that there was not a built in dinnete that turned into a bed. The couple before us had opted for free standing recliners. We have two children, so we needed something in that space that would accomodate us better. This is totally it! It is on the smaller side but it is so soft and fluffy! It also doubles as our couch for the day use, which makes its very versitile. It pretty much comes assembled, you just need to pop a few pieces into place and screw on the legs. All in all maybe 10 mins to get it together! It works perfectly for what we need! ... show more

Was a little smaller than anticipated even when I measured my previous futon couch and believed the dimensions were the same. Cushion are not as good as a thought. Cheap material used. But I guess you get what you pay for.

While the Marsail sofa bed looks nice and fits well in small spaces, I found it quite uncomfortable. The firmness makes it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep, and it doesn’t feel very supportive. The setup is straightforward, but comfort really falls short for me. Sturdy and easy to set up. Came mostly assembled which is great for anyone who takes it on by themselves. Not as plush as I'd hoped for, but honestly the price point and the quality of the futon frame make up for that
