I’ve ordered these twice to use as agitators in small pots of acrylic paints (Citadel & Army Painter). The first batch wasn’t magnetic at all when exposed to some large neodymium magnets. They also showed no signs of corrosion after a couple weeks in salt water and white vinegar (two separate bottles). The second batch was magnetic. Not a lot, but enough that I could move them around and pick some up with a magnet. Fearing the worst I did the same salt water/vinegar corrosion test and left a few in each jar for 2 months. I may have forgotten about them. Luckily there was no corrosion so I feel confident that they’ll be ok in my newer paint pots.
