  • Better than Aces, and yes it’s kid friendly
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Physical
Game is lots of fun, fast paced and easy to play compared to Aces which at times felt frustrating and slow. Online modes work well and are very populated with players. Graphics are greatly improved, vibrant and show lots of small details that were not possible on the original Nintendo Switch console. The Adventure/story mode is just alright and probably the weakest part of this game. But I don’t think many people play these games for that anyways. If you’re thinking about buying this you likely just enjoy the tennis matches themselves and the selection of characters and online play, etc. Just as many characters as Aces, and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong both have their updated designs which is nice. I think it’s worth picking up if you have a Switch 2. Ignore that review claiming it’s not kid friendly, that individual is reviewing based on their personal social and political beliefs, which is inappropriate in my opinion. Out of 10 I’d give this game a solid 8. It offers pretty much everything you want out of a Mario Tennis game and improves on Aces. ... show more

Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Physical
I wanna start off by saying I do not like tennis or have never played a tennis game but I saw this one in the quality for the game actually surprise me so I went and got a copy and I absolutely love the game if you’re like me and you do not like tennis or you’re afraid of not being good because you never play tennis in real life, don’t worry the game literally starts with a tutorial and it’s very easy to keep along is actually challenging and quite fun. I played it for more than two hours and had a blast mind you I have never played in real life tennis or have played before a Mario tennis game. Some features about this game is that you can actually collect rackets in those rackets after you hit this player and you actually bounce the ball certain amount of times there is a fever meter which once you press the a button and you get two tries when it’s already failed to do a special disaster shots. That way you can either do a body shot on your target or actually make a ball bounce, of course that way you win and also has like an adventure type mode which it will be like a training camp also has multiplayer mode, which is very cool and don’t get me started off with the quality. The quality is amazing. The image is sharp and clear very treaty looking in the cartridge is very cute too. Remember, this is only for the switch two and will not fit on the regular switch is it worth the $70? Absolutely you’re getting Nintendo quality and a fun with endless hours of pure challenge quality and fun. Also, they also have like an arcade style mode where you can actually hit off balloons off to the distance and play along there’s also another mode which uses the joy con 2 tracking that way you can actually use the control like an actual racket. I have tried the amount and it’s very fun and cool overall I read this a 10 out of 10 ... show more

  • Mario Tennis Fever Nintendo Switch 2
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Physical
Fast, Flashy, and Addictively Fun – A Must-Play Tennis Experience!!! Mario Tennis Fever on Nintendo Switch 2 is an absolute joy from start to finish, and easily one of the most entertaining sports titles I’ve played in a long time. It takes the classic Mario tennis formula and injects it with a vibrant surge of energy, personality, and fast-paced gameplay that keeps every match feeling fresh and exciting. The gameplay is incredibly smooth and responsive. Controls feel tight whether you’re playing casually or trying to master advanced techniques like charged shots, trick returns, and perfectly timed smashes. The new Fever mechanic adds a thrilling layer of strategy, rewarding longer rallies and smart positioning with powerful special shots that can completely shift the momentum of a match. Instead of feeling gimmicky, it blends naturally into the core tennis mechanics and actually makes matches more intense and fun. Visually, the game looks fantastic on Switch 2. The courts are colorful, detailed, and packed with charm, from classic stadiums to imaginative themed arenas that feel straight out of the Mushroom Kingdom. Character animations are lively and expressive, and everything runs buttery smooth even during chaotic multiplayer matches. Load times are quick, and the overall polish is very noticeable. The character roster is another huge highlight. There’s a great mix of fan-favorite characters and unique playstyles, which makes experimenting genuinely enjoyable. Some characters excel in power, others in speed or control, so each match feels different depending on who you choose. It encourages replayability because you’re constantly discovering new strategies and matchups. Multiplayer is where the game truly shines. Local matches are incredibly fun and competitive, especially with friends or family, and the online modes add even more longevity. Ranked matches feel fair and engaging, while casual play remains accessible for all skill levels. The motion-based swing option is also a nice touch, making it feel active and party-friendly without sacrificing precision controls for serious players. Content-wise, there is plenty to do. Between tournament modes, challenges, unlockables, and skill-based progression, the game offers a steady sense of reward that keeps you coming back. Even short play sessions feel satisfying, while longer sessions never feel repetitive thanks to the dynamic gameplay and variety of modes. Overall, Mario Tennis Fever is a vibrant, high-energy sports game that perfectly balances arcade fun with skill-based mechanics. It’s easy to pick up, hard to put down, and delivers endless replay value whether you’re playing solo, competitively, or with a group. A true 5-star experience for anyone who enjoys fun, fast-paced Nintendo sports titles. ... show more

  • Mario at his Best!
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Physical
When I heard there was going to be a switch 2 Mario Tennis, I knew it was a must have in my life. You see, Mario and I go way back, he made my childhood magical, he was always there for me, always ready to have fun. As I waited anxiously for the release date, I imagined all the new adventures I will be having with my old friend Mario, the teamwork, the fun we’ve shared for a lifetime. As I awoke this morning, my alarm set for extra early, I set up my chair by the front door, today was Mario day, the day I have been looking forward to for so long. Only 7 hours later, the Prime truck rolled up my driveway, I opened the door and posed for the delivery photo, holding my precious parcel proudly for the camera. Closing the front door, I bounded to the game room to start my new adventure, learning Tennis, the Mario way. Mario was as happy to see me as I was to see him, and as I played, I knew this would be a game I would cherish forever, a classic, fun and adventure with the friend that never let me down. My pal Mario. ... show more
