Great Game, Great value, its a Switch 2 physical cartridge, 50-60 dollars for a tennis game with the mainline Mario characters using Power up tennis rackets similar to Gamecube's Mario Power Tennis and is a great throwback from Camelot studios. Endless fun, decent challenges, improved gimmick modes, randomized gameplay. An announcer, well designed characters (looks like they are actually going to a tennis match, return to normalcy with the male and female animations which match the characters they support), What I mean is no HR breathing over the shoulder of Camelot studios like Game Freak has with its lack of animations for its male and female NPCs. This game actually has it all. I actually had a blast and that's just the single player experience The only con is really just the music. It is annoying and way worse than Mario Power Tennis themes that are lost to time. So put on some music when you play this game. I only mention Game Freak because they used to be the best on the older much smaller handhelds. That is also how I started playing Nintendo. However, Game Freak modern day needs to take notes from Camelot. Mario Tennis Fever is how you make a great Physical game.

I really enjoy Mario Tennis Fever on Nintendo Switch 2. The gameplay is fun, easy to pick up, and brings back the excitement of arcade-style tennis. The mechanics feel enjoyable, and it’s a great game to play casually. My only issue is that playing solo can feel a little repetitive after a while. The fun factor increases a lot when playing with friends because the matches become more exciting, competitive, and entertaining. I wanna start off by saying I do not like tennis or have never played a tennis game but I saw this one in the quality for the game actually surprise me so I went and got a copy and I absolutely love the game if you’re like me and you do not like tennis or you’re afraid of not being good because you never play tennis in real life, don’t worry the game literally starts with a tutorial and it’s very easy to keep along is actually challenging and quite fun. I played it for more than two hours and had a blast mind you I have never played in real life tennis or have played before a Mario tennis game. Some features about this game is that you can actually collect rackets in those rackets after you hit this player and you actually bounce the ball certain amount of times there is a fever meter which once you press the a button and you get two tries when it’s already failed to do a special disaster shots. That way you can either do a body shot on your target or actually make a ball bounce, of course that way you win and also has like an adventure type mode which it will be like a training camp also has multiplayer mode, which is very cool and don’t get me started off with the quality. The quality is amazing. The image is sharp and clear very treaty looking in the cartridge is very cute too. Remember, this is only for the switch two and will not fit on the regular switch is it worth the $70? Absolutely you’re getting Nintendo quality and a fun with endless hours of pure challenge quality and fun. Also, they also have like an arcade style mode where you can actually hit off balloons off to the distance and play along there’s also another mode which uses the joy con 2 tracking that way you can actually use the control like an actual racket. I have tried the amount and it’s very fun and cool overall I read this a 10 out of 10

Really fun game and a great time for pretty much any age. The online play is a blast, and I’ve especially enjoyed playing doubles with my girlfriend, whether we’re going against the AI or other players online. My biggest complaint is the Adventure mode. The academy/tutorial section feels way too long, especially if you’ve played previous Mario Tennis games. You spend several hours going through mini-games to learn each shot, getting quizzed on them, etc., and unfortunately it can’t be skipped. Then, once you finally get through all of that, the actual story is only around an hour or so. It makes the tutorial feel like an unnecessarily large part of the story mode. Outside of that, the game runs great at a consistent 60 FPS on the Switch 2 and looks gorgeous. Overall, it’s well worth adding to the collection, especially if you can find it on sale. It’s also a great jumping-in point if you’re new to Mario Tennis, while still having plenty for longtime fans.

Game is lots of fun, fast paced and easy to play compared to Aces which at times felt frustrating and slow. Online modes work well and are very populated with players. Graphics are greatly improved, vibrant and show lots of small details that were not possible on the original Nintendo Switch console. The Adventure/story mode is just alright and probably the weakest part of this game. But I don’t think many people play these games for that anyways. If you’re thinking about buying this you likely just enjoy the tennis matches themselves and the selection of characters and online play, etc. Just as many characters as Aces, and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong both have their updated designs which is nice. I think it’s worth picking up if you have a Switch 2. Ignore that review claiming it’s not kid friendly, that individual is reviewing based on their personal social and political beliefs, which is inappropriate in my opinion. Out of 10 I’d give this game a solid 8. It offers pretty much everything you want out of a Mario Tennis game and improves on Aces.
