I am two months post-op and wish I had found this garment sooner. After researching different compression garments, I saw that this one had very good reviews. After the hospital’s abdominal binder, my surgeon recommended the discount store brand that is similar to this in style, but it and other stage two garments that I could fit into did not provide enough compression. I have tried many, and this is my favorite for these reasons: 1. The compression is strong at the top of the abdomen, above the belly button. This is where I have had the most swelling post-op, and other garments were not as effective high on the abdomen. 2. I really like the “access” point. Other brands just have a pee hole, and those do not work for me. With other brands, I have to take the whole thing off every time I go to the bathroom. This is much better and reduces chafing on the scar from taking it on and off. 3. It is comfortable. When I needed more compression, I was going back to the hospital binder, but that is very scratchy and not smooth underneath clothes. This is a lot better. The straps felt a little uncomfortable and the leg holes seemed a little tight when I first put it on, but that eased up after wearing it. 4. The fit was good. I was unsure what size to get, as my waist measurement matched the medium but my hips matched the small. The small was perfect. I also tried the medium, and it was too big. 5. I like that it is panty length. If you want something in the higher compression side at stage 2, and want ease when going to the bathroom, I think this is an excellent choice.

My doctor recommended this after I told her I was having a hard time finding a stage 2 garment. I'm 8 weeks post op tummy tuck & Lipo and this one is very comfortable. It lays smooth over my still-sensitive belly and does not cause any pain or bunching like the previous ones I've tried here. I like that it's not open-crotch. The hook closures are easy enough and I get to wear my underwear under, not over...which bothered me for some reason. I like how the back is high because it relieves the discomfort from the Lipo on the upper flanks. I still am very sore, especially in the Lipo area. Compression is even all over, fabric is very durable yet soft. The only issue is the mild discomfort of the straps creeping into my armpit area. I can deal with that though, it's not a deal breaker. This garment does what it is supposed to do for my surgery results and that's all that matters. And is a million times better than the other ones I've bought and returned these past few weeks. I am 5 ft and 135 pounds and the medium fits perfect.

This is a great stage 2 compression garment, it is comfy and holds everything together. I like how it hooks in the crotch area, it makes it easier to use the restroom than stage 2 garments with legs and a crotch hole. The only problem I have had is that the straps are very tight in the armpit area and cut into my skin, I do with these were able to be made longer (like other garments made by Marena)!

I am 5'2" and weigh 118lbs, Perfect, the material is so soft and the fit is amazing and I haven't had surgery yet. That's tomorrow. Why I kept trying to find something less expensive was so futile and it doesn't pay in the long run. I am so happy with this one🥰✨✌️😇

Sadly, this item is awful. The hook and eyes, the width and the fabric in the crotch are SO sharp and uncomfortable, it digs and pokes into my inner thighs so badly I can’t wear it: I loved the other Marena item I bought but this one is not usable. Be very careful buying since you’re not able to return. Just get the ones that are knee length and forget the panty version.

I am truly disappointed! I have always been a fan of Marena shapewear and their compression garments, so I was really excited to receive my recent order. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded when I opened the package. To my dismay, the garment had an unwanted odor, likely from someone else's deodorant, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I noticed that the fabric was stretched out around the breast area, making it evident that it had been used or mishandled. Because of these issues, I’ve decided to return it.

Had surgery and needed one of these type garments. Have been through a few (quite costly ones too) and FINALLY found one that works for me. Quality is great, easiest access of any other when you need to use the restroom (yes others may have the same type closure but this one is positioned perfectly) and the compression is just right. Highly recommend!

Originally bought the one with all the hooks & eyes up the side and had some issues with that one. But this one is perfect! It's comfortable, the fabric is soft, fits well, and the hooks at the crotch are pretty easy to manage (unlike the other one, which were too low and practically had to stand on my head - like i could do that after a tummy tuck). My big issue is the sizing chart. Had to try four times before I got it right. What a pain! The UPS guys got to know me pretty well. If this will help anyone else, I'm 5'1" and weigh 133, small boned, and the large worked. (If I'm large, what in the world are medium and small!!) BTW, works pretty well with bikini panties, but don't recommend regular cause you have to pull it up too high to pull those down.
