I love that I could ride with bare back feeling. Super easy to put on. Only used it 3 times before seams started to come undone. Would not recommend. Sorry.

I don't know what draft horse the belly strap was made for, but it is definitely not ready-made a regular horse, so I am unable to immediately test the saddle as I'd hoped. The rest seems extremely nice. The small details in the saddle are wonderful, and seem very well made and secure. I will update once it is usable. Update: after reviewing the limited product photos, I noticed it looked like the straps on the saddle I received were missing the upper holes needed to tighten the girth cinch. I am currently in contact with the seller to rectify the issue, they replied promptly and I am looking forward to a quick resolution. Update 2: the company offered to repair the saddle if needed, if I tried to punch the holes myself first. I bought a hole punch, decided against it after a couple holes, and asked the company if they would punch them as offered. They only offered me a refund. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and refunded the money so I could get it done. Love the saddle. Company's customer service was extremely disappointing. ... show more

Very easy to use and it fits my horse perfectly. I purchased this saddle so I could just jump on at the ranch without have to go full on tack when it’s so hot outside. I bought this to get some exercise for my 2 geriatric horses that are out to pasture. Here are some thoughts, after reading other folks' comments: 1. This is NOT a $2000-$3000 trail saddle. If that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. This is a bareback blanket with stirrups, not much more. 2. The seat rides like a 15" seat. I typically ride a 16" and this is a little smaller, but rideable for me. 3. The stirrup straps on the saddle I bought are significantly different. They are permanently attached and have a reinforced section with holes punched so you can adjust the length. One works fine, the other is 7" longer and can't be shortened enough without punching new holes. This is a production defect. I worked with the supplier to find an acceptable solution. 4. The provided cinch is a little too long(34"), but useable on my 15.2 hand horse. A 30"-32" would be better. 5. I wouldn't expect to ride this saddle all day, but was reasonably comfortable on a 4-5 mile ride. Once I resolve the stirrup length issue, I'll feel better about riding longer. But for long rides and overnights, I'll stick with by real trail saddle. Overall, this little saddle does what it's intended to do. This product is dangerous, there is no way to cinch it tight enough to not slid. I rode my horse down the road and back part way when the product slid left. The saddle caught my right leg breaking my tibia. I’m going into surgery for repair the break and my knee. My horse is literally the only reason I’m alive, she stopped and stood still as I hung from her neck in an attempt to not break my arms and face in the fall. The stirrups do not adjust to an even length. I'm 5'2" and even if they were adjusted evenly I couldn't reach them even with my tip toes. Seller contacted me to fix the problem. The actual pad itself is comfortable. and fit well, but the stirrups were an issue.
