The very best sharpener I've ever used and now the only one I purchase. I'm an actor, certified MUA, and makeup enthusiast so my pencils are used professionally and for everyday life constantly. This makes sharpening a breeze. It sharpens consistently and doesn't over-sharpen unless you deliberately do that so you don't ruin tips easily. It also does an excellent job of sharpening even the most difficult of hard plastic outer shells. There have been many times when a cheap plastic sharpener would not cut into the plastic layer and made the pencil feel like it can't be sharpened but this one always does the trick. I recommend it for everyone from the makeup newbie to pros needing an essential staple in their kit to get the sharpest lines, sturdiest build, and easiest time sharpening any pencil they need.
