This is an update of my initial review. The first one I received was clearly damaged, and malfunctioning. With the new one, I was able to program it instantly. Now...trust me, look at the reviews, and look at the video reviews. There's one that is like 6min and some change long. If you want to program it easily, watch that guy's video. You'll know it's the right video if the dude is clearing his throat constantly. Lol. But he is 100% better than the included instructions. The safe works very well. No other fingerprints will open the safe aside from the one finger I programmed. The keys work in case of battery/fingerprint reader failure. I did not want a large safe at all, so the size is perfect for me. I used the pre-drilled holes to mount the safe. Since it being so compact, I was able to convert a cabinet into a spot for this safe. No one would EVER know there is a safe there. Now...this is NOT a Fort Knox safe, so seriously, people...those of you with the stupid negative reviews about the 1.) Quality: It's a $60 safe. Get real. 2.) Size: If you cant figure out how to see what 0.5 cubic ft. is, go back to school. 3.) Yes, if someone steals the whole safe from you, they will get it open.

I purchased this safe because my little lock box was too small and not sturdy enough to safely contain my loot, docs and other items. This safe has exceeded my expectations in many areas. First off it is large enough hold many items with plenty of space to organize inside. Its outside appearance is very handsome. It can be bolted down. It has light inside that turns on when you open the door. The digital keypad is very easy to program and easy to use. It also has a keyed compartment inside the safe for keeping your more personal items hidden and safely locked away. This is a very good safe at a very good price. You will be glad you bought it.

Anyone can open fingerprint Lock you can use your toes n unlocks do not trust fingerprint lock remove batteries n just use physical key for safe I haven't tried unlocking with different keys so I m not even sure key is safe my return window expired so I can't return so try right away so you have a time to return otherwise you will be stuck with it

This was a great price and replaced a much larger safe I could not take when I moved. It is light enough for one person to carry away, so it will have to be built-in or bolted in place for added security. There's a key to open the front as an alternative to the keypad (two keys included) and a second set of keys (different size) to open the second interior area. That's fairly large and would a cigar box and then some. The combination can be set to whatever you want and changed. The keypad is all plastic, as is the dial that opens the door. If the battery dies or you forget the code, use the key. There's a little sliding door (plastic) that conceals the keyway. There's two shelves, a small pocket on the door and key hooks. The pocket and hooks - plastic. When the door closes, it's inset and there virtually no gap, so it would be difficult to get a crowbar in there. For the money it's a great little safe.

I did NOT return mine afternoon learning how to clear all the other fingerprints. I am keeping medication safely out of reach by keeping honest people honest. That's all locks really do anyway, right? Watch the 6:38 video to learn how the reset button works! Hint: hold it for 30 seconds... then proceed with registering your fingerprints.

Since I can't contact the seller, this biometric safe is worthless. It can't register one fingerprint; anyone can open it! Do not purchase. If you were to keep a firearm in this safe your kids could get it.

Material is thin. Throughout the process of transfer, the safe that was packaged must have been dropped or hit by something. I was actually delighted to receive this safe. I then opened the package to see that the safe was damaged. If the safe would have been made of thicker material, the material would not have dented. This safe for it to be secure needs to be fastened, otherwise because of it's weight it can easily be taken & because of the thin material may be broken into.
