I cannot believe how amazing these knives really are! They are not only really pretty but great quality and durable. They arrived super sharp and cut through everything like a hot knife through butter. Including watermelon and frozen meat. I prefer to hand-wash all my knives but my husband sometimes puts them through the dishwasher and they have maintained their colors and sharpness. I love that they came to with blade covers that actually stay on and protect them in the drawer. I have arthritis in my hands and these knives have made it so much easier to enjoy cooking again. Full disclosure, I haven't cut food with these yet. But they seem very sharp, they cut cardboard very well, they seem sturdy and the colors are beautiful. Very pleased with the quality for the price.

The Marco Almond knife set is one of the best knives I have ever used. The precision in the cut is great. The quality is beyond words. I will warn be careful when opening as they are extra sharp. I recommend hand wash only. Very sturdy and durable. Great value for the price. I plan to order more of this brand.

These knives are sharp and will stay that way with proper treatment. This is my second set ( bought for my daughter), third if you count the ones stolen off my porch. When you use them do not leave them sitting in water, after the second of third time of use run them through the sharpener, and never use a scratch pad to clean them. My first set and the ones I use daily are several years old and I have many more years to look forward to using them. The are beautiful in my opinion. Use safety with the knives as well as the scissors. The downside to everything you buy is if you don't take care of them with pride you will be disappointed. If you happen to leave them in water and they spot rust, use vinegar and a soft cloth, I have never had to do this with my set.
