  • Solid enough for the price, lots of fun.
Overall I'm pretty happy with this set up. I ordered the one that comes with the seat. Both boxes showed up within 1 day of each other, the seat was pretty easy to put together though the instructions were difficult to follow. The seat took me probably about 20 minutes to put together with the tools they provided. The wheel mount and main frame took me probably about 45 minutes to an hour to build with the tools they provided. The instructions provided for the main frame were much better than the seat instructions. The most difficult part was getting the seat attached to the main frame and that was made MUCH easier by the video the seller sent. Seriously if you order this make sure you watch the videos they send instead of spending a bunch of time being frustrated. For the price I paid I feel like the steel is rigid enough and overall it is a solid set up. There is a little bit of flex in the steering wheel mount but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, I use this for F1 simulating and the flex in the wheel can actually help in tight hairpins. I didn't have any issues with missing parts or things not fitting. All the bolts threaded easily into place. I use the Logitech G920 pedals and steering wheel, the unit comes with bolts to secure the pedals/wheel to the frame and it is very secure. The one issue with the instructions for the main frame was that some of the screws/bolts needed were not labeled but it's pretty easy to figure out what goes where if you play with it for a couple minutes. The seat and wheel mount are highly adjustable, it's pretty comfortable overall. Someone without much mechanical knowledge could probably put this together pretty easily in less than 2 hours. For an entry level set up I would recommend this to any of my friends. It makes my racing a lot more fun and comfortable. ... show more

  • The frame is good, the seat is borderline OK
It’s a good starter rig that I think could last 3-5 years or so, depending on if you take care of it or not, by then you should know if you’d wanna invest in a nicer rig or not anyway. The frame is decent for the price, I have been pretty hard on it and it hasn’t cracked or failed in any way. I have a G20 with the shifter, and I had no problem installing, I doubt many other common wheel setups would be hard to install as there are many different holes and slots for install/adjustment, do make sure you get zip ties for easier cable management. The seat is not good quality and is not the sturdiest, I got the black one, so your better option may be the red seat, or just hooking up a different seat entirely. The whole thing is decently light, it makes it relatively easy to move around or change position if needed. One thing that I would recommend is putting something soft or cushioning over the bolt heads, they don’t feel good hitting and stepping on them with your toes and feet ... show more

  • great for what it is!!
im giving it 5 stars because!!! it would be 3 when i bought it bc it felt meh. but i cant lie, i have had it 3 years now and it still holds strong! for a basic racing sim that isnt the price of actually racing its very nice no handbrake spot or adapter for it all unless no shifter is ran, has paddles for that but ... show more

  • Comfortable
Cockpit is awesome for the price, you can't beat it! With that being said, mounting the chair to the frame was a pain in the butt. I'm sure there was an easier way but I was a few beers deep and couldn't think of one. Other than that, it's great! Pretty sturdy, except your wheel will bounce, a simple metal bar will fix that. A few simple mods and it's as good as the high dollar ones but without the price. Very comfortable seat, everything is adjustable so you can get the perfect fit! Note that it comes in 2 separate packages and they may not arrive on the same day according to the seller. A+ ... show more

  • Cockpit Setup For AmericanTruckSimulator
The media could not be loaded. It’s nice but I wish it had more things like to put your keyboard and mouse and wasn’t to wide at the bottom so I could put it up closer to my Tv through my Triple Tv Stand but other then that I Love it I’m Thinking About Building on to it myself. I would like to say Thank You For Everything GOD Bless ... show more

  • Felt like a kid again !
All of my boxes came at the same time and everything was there. Assembly I’m extremely mechanically inclined so it took time but I did it. I tie wrapped all the wires neatly and got it done. I got all the settings in Forza figured out as well as the Logitech G923. Everything mounted fine to the stand and I added the shifter also. I do wish the stand had a support bar that could be switched from left to right side of the steering wheel mount. It’s sturdy but the force feedback from the wheel does shake it. Adding this bar would resolve that. Once everything was configured so that the clutch pedal worked properly (that was my biggest issue) I started playing and I felt like a kid again playing a game in a video arcade ! I had to stop for a while to eat lmao. As you see in the background I have the flight simulator controls. Much harder to figure out but getting there. But as for the stand…..price was good compared to some others, pretty sturdy, seat is just fine so for me it works and it works good. Shipping was timely. Now I’m getting into this and I have to get an e brake lol. All in all very happy ! ... show more
