  • Perfect for beginner sim rigs
Worth it. Comfortable and stable. Well built. Was not difficult to assemble.

  • Quicker Setup/Easy Adjustments, RUGGED!
This product is extremely rugged for the price. I’ve been wanting to get a rig for a while now and Black Friday was the perfect opportunity to buy! Even without the discount, seeing and sitting in it I would’ve paid retail for it. The setup is pretty straight forward and I was able to complete it by myself in just about 2.5hours (assembling the seat together, then the rig, then combining them both). I’m 6’0” and 195lbs and have a very long torso and the amount of adjustment you can make to this thing is incredible! In my third picture you could basically slide the u-bolts closer or further away from the wheel to get your shifter/pedals closer to the seat in addition to the seat having its own slider that is just like a car driver seat! If you are looking to get a cheaper rig, this is the one. I have a Logitech G29 bundle and everything mounts beautifully. They send you more than enough spare bolts, nuts, and washers! Just waiting until my Fanatec DDPro 8NM arrives to really complete my setup! ... show more

  • When you're ready to get serious this is the one to get.
This is my first sim setup. I love it and the quality is great for the price. Here's what you need to know: It's shipped flat and you need to put it together. They give you great instructions for doing so They provide the tools to put it together (though I used my own) If you're even somewhat mechanically inclined it's easy to do. It's sturdy, even for me (I am 6'2" and 250lbs). Not only do I fit in this, but it feels VERY solid. As a note, I used red loctite on the non adjusting bolts. This is just so things never come loose later. I found the adjustments to be excellent. The seat adjusts for tall and short people just fine. Shifter location is good I was able to screw in my wheel and pedals just fine and they feel solid. Overall this thing is 100% worth the price. I love it. ... show more

  • Marada Cockpit-14(really Cockpit-54) review - it's very solid and nice if you have the space
This is a review of the Marada Red Cockpit-14. To more precise, this is actually the Cockpit-54. Looks like the original 14 design got improved but they kept the same name. You can also find Cockpit-54 on Amazon and see they are the same. I originally was going to buy the stand only and use the seat from my old Playseat Classic. The lack of sliders on my old seat changed my mind so I bought the version with the seat. Overall, took me probably 5 hours to assemble and attach peripherals. About 1:15 for the stand itself. Not hard but a lot of bolts to connect and tighten. Once it was together, I realized just how big and heavy this cockpit is. Has to weigh at least 80lbs. As I need to be able to move it around, I went on Amazon and bought some M8x20mm caster sets(1.5" or 2" wheels - I got the 2") to use instead of the included feet. Works great and the cockpit remains stable. Next came the seat. Putting that together took about 30 minutes. Trying to attach it to the cockpit, however, turned into an exhausting failure. Looks easy in their video but not for me. I eventually gave up doing it their way and removed the seat mounting panels from the cockpit and attached them to the seat first, then mounted the panels/seat to the cockpit frame. Otherwise, it is very difficult to get the sliding rails mounted to the panels. Front end of slide has only one attachment hole while the rear has 4(and you have to use the 4th in from the edge). I found it impossible to work a screw or bolt that far underneath the rear of the seat. Now it was time to mount my Thrustmaster T300RS. Again, more difficult than I expected. Yes, the wheel plate has the necessary holes but you still have to find and line up the holes in the wheel. I sat in the seat and removed some of the wheel stand bolts so the plate was basically in my lap so I could steady the wheel while hole hunting. (Important note for T300 owners, in case you forgot, the USB cable is hard-wired to the wheel) I ran the USB and pedal cables right out the back of the wheel plate. The power cord is too large for this and I had to bend it under itself and route it out one of the big round holes on the mounting plate. Mounting pedals was easy in comparison. 4 velcro straps are included to help manage cables. Not using the shifter stand but simple to attach if needed. Finally, time for some Gran Turismo 7. The cockpit is very sturdy compared to my old Playseat. Mounting the steering wheel to the plate rather than using the plastic table mount brought a much more detailed feel from the wheel. I was getting tactile feedback at a greater level than previously. Even with wheels holding up the cockpit, there was no movement and cranking the wheel for a sharp turn felt great and instilled confidence. The adjustability of the seat is nice but I found it a lot hotter to sit in compared to the fabric-backed chair I used for 15 years. I miss the side bolsters of my old seat as well. You may prefer getting just the frame and find your own seat. Seems to me that this cockpit is more than strong enough for a direct drive wheel, provided the wheel mounting plate can accommodate it. Hopefully I will find out someday. To wrap up, a solid racing cockpit at a reasonable price but it is relatively large and heavy. I would guess a very low Wife Acceptance Factor unless you have dedicated space for it. You could separate the front and rear if needed(remove 8 bolts). I rate this a solid 4 stars(point off because I believe the wheel stand hardware could use some improvement with regard to cable management and wheel port accessibility, assembly was more challenging than expected, and the seat is fine but not exceptional) and perfect for those that have the space for it and enjoy sim racing but not to the level of the hardcore guys with their very expensive rigs. I guess you could call this a gateway cockpit. Fine for the casual, non-competitive racer but it could lead to full blown sim racing addiction. Considering the price point, this provides a great bang for the buck. Cheers! ... show more

  • Great racing cockpit!! Fast shipping!
I’m new to everything that has to do with gaming, I bought this to share the experience with my grandson. I’m impressed with the whole setup, especially this racing cockpit, it was delivered extremely fast and in wonderful condition, not even a scratch! It wasn’t bad putting together, I had more trouble hooking up all the electronics lol. Plenty of room, the seat moves forward or back and reclines in different positions and I’m 6’1” 205lb, the wheel, pedals and shifter mounted with no problem and all the hardware for that came with this racing cockpit. Very comfortable and worth the cost. ... show more

  • Strong and Sturdy
Body is amazing. The most difficult part of assembly was attaching the chair to the body even with extra instructions from seller due to minimal amount of finger space. Instruction manual is not very clear. Could be better if parts were labeled. Overall, absolutely love it. It can definitely hold 300 lbs. ... show more

  • Top Notch!!
This racing rig is top notch quality!! During the unpacking, I noticed that the tubes are laser welded and look excellent! The bolts and nuts were all thread chased and this made assembly a breeze as every single bolt was threaded in with my fingers with ease. I say this because after paint and powder coat it tends to make threads tight, but this is not the case with this. The instructions are clear, mostly graphical, but make sure you follow them as to which side the washers go on. An assembly tip....only finger tighten all the mainframe tube flanges together until all of the mainframe is together. It will line up easier. The seat looks awesome!! Comfy too! Once assembled, this rig has a huge amount of adjustability to it! Being a welder/fabricator, I am truly impressed with this product!! ... show more
