The craftsmanship on this product is awful. The shifter mount weld separated so it now just freely comes off. Mine is welded crooked so it rocks back and forth (even with the "adjustable" feet (they aren't really adjustable per se, you can just loosen them, making it sit a little better but still not perfect, and making it so your feet will eventually need screwed back on) Save your money and get something with a seat attached. While it might not be the most flashy or aesthetically pleasing rig, it does it's job well. I use this mostly for flight sims, and the build quality is MUCH better than I was expecting. Especially for the price! Easy to set up and put away. Very pleased 10/10

Keep in mind, this is a $90 universal-fit wheel, pedal, and shifter stand. The directions aren't too great. The print is small, the bolt size/thread pitch do not match, there's no mention of washers, and the directions, for some reason, apparently double-up. That being said, this is a relatively simply piece to put together and the directions aren't entirely needed, but can be a bit helpful in orientation of the base, mount arms, wheel base, and shifter base. The hardware appears to be good quality. The threads on the bolts are clean and consistent. The allen heads are not filled with schmoo, so the hex key fits tightly. The nuts are good quality and spin easily onto the bolts and tighten well. Steel 1"x1" tubing is used and is seems to be press bent, hence the ridges on the inside of the shifter's L arm. Unfortunately, the base frame itself (where the pedals rest) is not level out of the box and is quite wobbly, however the supplied leveling casters work well and have enough thread to make up the difference. No unevenness was felt in my feet when placing them on the pedals or the base. While there is no paint drip upon inspection, many of the parts have had the paint chip, presumably during shipping, as they were wrapped in bubble-wrap and haphazardly placed into a cardboard box with three foam strips laid on top to add some kind of 'support' from being crushed. All of the hardware, allen key, and unknown-size wrench were placed into an individual bag without labels as to size, amount. Although there are knobs to be used to tighten the shifter's L arm and the steering wheel mount's dual arms, they feel cheap (as expected), but tight down quite well. That being said, that amount of adjustment which can be made to steering wheel height is nice, but the angle adjustment which is allowed for the steering wheel's base is, unneeded. The minimal amount that can be made may as well not be made available for the Logitech G920's wheel (and shifter). Slots are machined into the base (and the arm mount for some reason) to allow the base to tilt, but it's at such a small increment that it wouldn't be noticed. The slots are machine well, but only on a single axis and not curved to allow for more angles to be achieved. The only complaints that I have for this specific stand (and they aren't big complaints), is that the shifter cannot be secured to the supplied bases. Pictured above, and (poorly) lightened, is the underside of the shifter base. Unlike the steering wheel's base which has square tubing to allow the wheel to secure itself, the shifter base lacks that feature. This is easily solved by cutting down a 1" x 2" piece of wood and placing it "inside" the mount to allow the G920's shifter tighten properly. It's a simple fix. The shifter's L arm may not extend away from wheel far enough, so be aware of that. The location of the arm is more along the lines of a Honda's shifter location; close to the steering wheel, within quick reach. So, this isn't really a complaint about placement of the shifter in relation to the wheel, but more an observation of the lack of adjustment. Given the packing restraints, I can see why they kept it the size it is. Where the pedals rest has three angles to choose from, and while the pedals themselves are heavy and have a non-slip rubber feet, I feel that under hard braking the assembly would slip off of the base. A metal strip running from the left side to the right would help solve this problem on top of the base so, when the pedals are pushed hard, they will push into the strip which would help them not push off of the base. Not a big deal, as a strip can be made with an L bracket and bolted into place. (But having that be provided would be awesome for people in the future!) Hardware. I had previously stated that the hardware is in good condition and is quite adequate. However, more flat washers, locking washers for the larger M8 and smaller M6 button-head bolts would have been nice to have. I see them loosening over time with the base being moved and used often. The amount of extra M6 button-head bolts that are supplied is...astounding. The two pictured M8 bolts were used to mount the secondary shifter base (but lacked necessary washers) to the wheel frame. One washer was not machined properly and the inner diameter would allow for a bolt approximately the size of an M3, not the M6 button-head, to pass through. To be fair, the extra M6 hardware may be used for other wheels, shifters, or pedals to tighten them down to the bases so they do not slide. All of that being said; chipping paint, poor packaging, poor directions, inordinate amount of extra non-essential hardware, lack of hardware, lack of adjustment, and sketchy quality of the tubing, knobs, and some design, I'd definitely buy this product again if I had another wheel. The design is simple enough to allow for customization for whatever wheel setup that you have. There were only a few small gripes about the design, but remember, this is a universal stand mean to suit the needs of *many* different wheel setups and kept at a low cost. The quality isn't going to be there for your specific wheel, but that's okay. The only thing this wheel stand needs to do is hold a wheel. It doesn't need to move, doesn't need to keep up with strong forces, and, from what I can tell, will suit most people's needs. Buy it. Customize it. Make it even better for your setup. ... show more

This was a Christmas gift for my son. Assembly was easy as all hardware and needed tools were included. His only complaint was that the included cable guides, may cause a wire to be pinched while folding the stand for storage.

This thing is ultra flimsy. If you shift the whole thing jiggles and the steering wheel just bounces constantly. I made sure everything was tight but the supports are just too thin or unsupported so you can shake and jiggle this whole thing very easily. If they would have connected the steering wheel supports to the shifter support I think that could have fixed the problem. ... show more
