Amazing cockpit for an amazing price! -Base mount has no movement, it is solid. -Pedal box has no movement at all. -Slight movement in the shifter mount, but nothing alarming at all. This won't affect your game play. The plate is also plenty big for both a shifter and handbrake. -ADJUSTABILITY!! I am 6'6" and there is no size that won't work on this rig. Everything can be adjusted to your liking. -Seat is better than expected and looks even better in person. Great size for all players. Slight flex that you would expect from a recliner, but holds up great to hard braking. -Hardware is plentiful. You will receive more than enough for assembly and not one screw or bolt was even close to stripping. -Monitor mount is also very adjustable. I moved it closer to me than the suggested build and this did not effect the pedal box at all. -Extruded aluminum build means you can expand and add all the accessories you need! Bass shakers and other accessories are no problem! In summary, you should not hesitate. The seller is very helpful and shipping was fast. After weeks of research to find a reasonably priced sim racing rig, I settled on this 80/20 aluminum kit. The kit came quickly, in 4 boxes and was pretty well packaged. One box was very beat up on arrival and one of the extruded aluminum pieces had a small ding at one end. This didn’t affect assembly and the defect is hidden after assembly. The kit is well made and all the assembly hardware (with some spares) was included. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. Took about 4 hours to put together including mounting the TV and wheel/pedal setup. Get a friend to help with the TV mounting. The kit is almost infinitely adjustable and very sturdy. Almost any size or shape of person should be able to find a comfortable setup. The included seat is cloth (all black version) and relatively comfortable, but a bit stiff. Kit comes with seat sliders and the seat reclines so it’s easy to adjust for different people if you’re doing an endurance race, with driver changes, or you want to share the racing fun with kids or friends. The only thing I would change is making the long base side rails one piece. They are 2 pieces connected together to make a longer rail. This is just from a design perspective. The 2 piece rails are strong and I’ve had no issue, but this is the only thing that separates this 80/20 aluminum kit from the ones that are double the price. The only time I could see this possibly being an issue is if you were to put a full motion setup on this frame. Overall, this is an awesome sim rig kit and will be with me for a long time. This rig will easily be able to keep up with me as I do future upgrades to a higher torque wheel set and add a Buttkicker or two. I am very happy with my budget aluminum racing sim rig.

Bought this as an entry level cockpit to upgrade my desk mounted sim. I’m pretty impressed with overall quality and stability for a fraction of what a name brand cockpit from NLR would cost. Took approximately 3 hours to assemble, instructions were pretty easy to understand and there weren’t any hiccups putting it together. Some of the bars for the frame had a few scratches and some damage from shipping but nothing too major. Attaching and adjusting my wheel and accessories to my ideal positioning took an additional 3 hours, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSTALLING YOUR PEDALS ONTO THE PEDAL TRAY BEFORE INSTALLING IT ON THE COCKPIT. It also helps when installing the seat to attach the base first and then bolt the seat back on. Some of the mounting holes are a bit awkward for my setup (Thrustmaster T300, Moza Handbrake, Thrustmaster TH8A shifter) but I was able to get it dialed with a little bit of drilling. Overall very happy with the cockpit, tons of adjustability for different setups and driving styles and no issues in the first 2 weeks of use so I’m excited to see how it will hold up long term. Excellent value for the money too as a lot of 80/40 rigs are $1000-$1200 for just the frame itself.

This product is a steal for the quality and price. Going in, I needed a frame that wouldn't move and allow it to be customizable to my liking for me to be satisfied with getting into this hobby space. No more connecting it to a desk or some low quality compromise. This frame is solid and endlessly customizable. Seat feels great and display stand is solid as well. Others have mentioned the difficulty in the assembly process and I understand how it can be confusing. But once you understand that you are basically using the same 4 items (metal beams, spring nuts, washers, bolts) for 99% of the building process, it is just a matter of following directions. It can take a minute to build but what you get in the process is the ability to tweak everything to your liking. 5/10 for difficulty, and most of it was figuring out which way to put the spring nuts at the beginning. ;)

Great product, mounted a 50 inch tv and was able to mount pro wheel,pedals,df shifter, and rs shifter with the mounting screws supplied. Only complaint was it was a bit timely of a build project. Decent instructions plenty of extra bolts, washers, and spring nuts in case you lose one or two.

I love this rig. Packaging was great and everything arrived as expected and even faster than originally promised. It went together very quickly and has proven to be a very stable platform. I liked that there were some extra hardware. I have made a small improvement that Marada should consider: a platform between the wheel supports and the front struts to support the PC/Game Box. I also picked up a keyboard/mouse tray swing out arm that makes things a bit more convenient.
