  • Great monitor
Works like a beast. First time owning an ultra wide and this one did not disappoint. There is plenty of pluses but a few cons. The monitor can start to get a little fuzzy with quick movements on screen during fps games. It does maintain crisp pictures during things like third person games and movies. The combination of motion blur with the monitors 1 MRTP seems like the culprit. The adaptive synch works perfectly and allows you to avoid screen tearing. The mouse bungi is a gimmick but also it isn't. It's nice not having the mouse cord dragging around but not needed. The back RGB lighting synchs up easily with other msi mystic light items. However, the RGB lighting isn't as bright and is really unnoticeable unless the lights in your room are turned off. I would highly recommend this monitor and it is a great ultrawide 1440p monitor at this price point. ... show more

  • Read Before you buy!
A few things about this monitor you should know before buying. I don’t if this is just my unit but the 144hz is not stable on this monitor ( it seems like a factory overclock just so they can put that 144hz on the label.) screen tears with g-sync and with v-sync. It runs smooth once tone it down to 120hz. This is the biggest con. Other than that the monitor itself is great. Colors are good. Viewing angles good. Great stand. Some people will say not to get 1080p widescreen because of pixel density but rather to get 1440p. Don’t listen to them. It’s all about preference, image quality vs performance. If your a gamer that prefers more frames then get a 1080p monitor. getting a 1440p widescreen will require more graphic resources to push, and losing potential FPS. As for my experience with it, coming from a 144hz 16:9 tan panel. The wide screen experience is amazing. I don’t think I can go back. Even at 120hz it’s still worth it. EDIT UPDATE: been using the monitor for a long time now, after month or so..it seemed to have fixed the screen tearing at 144hz settings. Must of been a break-in period, to get the monitor working right. Had the monitor about a year now no problems, changing to 5 star review. ... show more

  • An AMAZIN BUY An AMAZIN BUY
Well, the monitor itself is a GOD'S SENT. It has an amazing refresh rate on its own, even without the black 1ms equalizer, I can say that it has 144 herz because I have a TN 144 Herz panel to the right of it. The color depth is awesome, saturated colors with HDR, though not on a hardware lvl =*( It is also G-sync approved, has freesync and adaptive sync as a bonus. Well, what can be said, it is great. The only downside is the lightbleed to the top left side with the size of a medium sized fist, same thing on the left bottom of the screen but with a twice smaller sized bleed. ALL of the curved panels have such a bad "sickness", if you want to have a monitor without bleeds - go for flat screens, plus they have better color saturation (sRGB and etc). I would give this monitor 10 our of 10, but I will give it 9.5 out of 10 because of the bleeding it has, it ruins a bit impression from horror games, such as Resident Evil 2 and Dino Crisis 1 and 2. Can't complain at all since I've got the monitor for 375$, though payed 85$ for transportation from USA to Georgia (a country where I live), plus a tax of 80$ on top for the customs (lazy arses). A MUST BUY for a gamer who loves wide screens! Will update the review in time ... show more

  • Solid Gaming Monitor And a Great Value!
So I was upgrading my gaming desktop with a new GPU (RTX Geforce 2070 Super) and even though I already had a very nice LG Widescreen monitor, it was only 60hz and I experienced significant screen tearing on games, etc. even with the new video card. The LG 34GL750-B ended up being a great choice for an upgrade! Not only was it a very good value for a 144hz 34" widescreen, but the G Sync compatibility feature was the clincher. This monitor has features normally found in far more expensive units. For gaming this monitor has been outstanding. I'm not exaggerating when I say there has been ZERO screen tearing, even during a graphic intensive first person shooter like the 2019 Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. It's the smoothest gameplay experience I've ever had with a PC game thanks to the monitor. I've never owned a 144hz monitor and boy does it make a difference! Very crisp images and the 1ms blur reduction works very, very well. Having owned several LG monitors in the past I was used to the controls and they are simple, easy to use and offer enough basic features to properly customize the display to your needs. Although the 34GL750-B is not a true G Sync monitor, the compatibility mode does provide some solid picture enhancements, especially when gaming. You can definitely tell the difference. I will say I had to really crank up the brightness but once I adjusted the settings, it wasn't an issue. That was really the only negative critique I could find. All in all, for the money you can't beat this monitor and I'm looking forward to several years of great gaming fun! ... show more

  • amazing monitor for gaming
Ignore these other bullish reviews. yes its only 1080p, yes it goes to144hz. i have a 4k monitor too. i play on this one... its no nonsense, picture is amazing! borderlands 3 at 144hz looks f-ing great! i will be buying 2 more for a 3 monitor setup. for the haters saying its only 1080 and what not. screw that. this monitor is great! and its not massively curved like other monitors. pros great picture adaptive frame rate. plays flawless at max resolution at 144hz, gtx1080ti. w/ hdr cons i want to stress that the only con i got was with windows, using multiple monitors and HDR. i am using two other wide screen LG monitors that are NOT hdr compatible. this doesnt play nice with any HDR monitor. not sure what it has to do with. removing the other monitors fixes it and/or turning off HDR fixes it. doesnt seem to be an issue with VR, tested with occulus and vive first gen. as youve probably gathered i love this monitor. warzone looks great at max res. Borderlands 3 at max res and dx 11 or 12 is amazing. detroit become human had me believing i was an android! ok that might be overkill...ghost recon wildlands is truly wild. breakpoint is fantastic. tl:dr fawk the haters, this is a great budget monitor and if you need more....chances are you a poser! woot! ... show more

  • 7 Year Wait Review
I had this monitor for 7 years now and I figured it was time to write a review. Short story I love this monitor. Its been through a lot with me. I do a lot of multi dual screen. If your honestly looking for a quick and easy monitor this is one for you. Long story : I've had this monitor for 7 years now and its still going strong my boyfriend has gotten two monitor and Im left with is one. I have no dead pixels, and no issues with refresh rate either. I bought this whenever it was priced very high and I have no complaints about it. I do wish I could get another one but my space is limited on my desk. Maybe I might get another monitor in the future. Shes never very heavy either, we've moved her around quite a bit and such a easy thing to move. The screen is easy to adjust if you need to. I play a lot of games on this monitor and it has never looked better on it with 144hz. Color accuracy is wonderful as well, like I said before the boyfriend has gotten two monitor already and he has claimed my screen looks much better with HDR on it than anything. A vaule for money worth if I'm being honestly I can't appraise this monitor anymore than I have already. If you read this far thank you and hope I you give this monitor a try! ... show more

  • Worst customer service I have ever experienced
The monitor worked well for five weeks before the picture became distorted. Below is an e-mail I sent to LG regarding my attempts (still incomplete) to get the monitor repaired. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the end of August I contacted LG regarding how to get my new monitor repaired. I'd ordered it over Amazon and the screen became distorted after about five weeks of use. LG customer service originally told me that they could have a technician come to my house to repair the monitor. I then awaited them to call me to tell schedule an appointment. After several days I called LG again to check in. They had discovered that there was no repair technician local to me. I would have to send my monitor in. No one called me to tell me this, they waited for me to call them back. I eventually got a shipping label and sent the monitor in to LG around the 5th of September. I received no further updates from LG until I emailed them about three weeks later. I was told that the monitor repair was "pending" and there was no further information. I called LG again on about the 9th of October and was again told that the repair was pending and they were waiting for a part. I then left my home on business for three weeks. Upon returning, on the 30th of October I called LG again and was told the exact same thing. The repair was "pending" and they were missing a part. I then called LG back every two days until I was told that the repair could not be completed and I'd be receiving a refund or a replacement. Then, unexpectedly, the monitor was repaired and returned to me around the 7th of November. However, I mailed the power adapter in with my monitor in September as LG customer service recommended. The monitor was returned without the power adapter. I called LG immediately to tell them that I needed my adapter returned. They agreed to do so. Today (November 15th) I received a package from LG with... the power chord. But not the adapter. The chord is cheap and easy to replace. If I was missing the chord I would have just bought a new one. I needed the specific and expensive adapter. I've called LG and am told I will receive it... in 3-10 business days. I bought this monitor in July. I have only been able to use it for five weeks. The rest of the 4 months that I have owned this monitor it has been damaged and unusable, it has been in the LG repair facility (status pending,) or it has been returned to me but without the power adapter/chord. At every single stage of this repair experience LG has disappointed me. They have given me wrong information or no information at all. They have waited for me to decide to call them and check for updates instead of providing me with updates. And finally they returned only a part of the product. I still don't even know if the repair worked because I can't turn the monitor on. This has been the most disappointing technology customer service experience of my life. When I was told that I would be getting a refund I was very happy because I knew I would use that money to buy a monitor from a different company. I am eager to get my adapter so I can see if the repair was even successful. It is a nice monitor (when it is working) but I can promise you, I will never purchase LG electronics again. ... show more

  • Good monitor for the price, excellent gaming pal
The best monitor you can have for the price! I looked through so many monitors and I couldn't find what I was looking for. I even bought another one which was cheaper but with the same description this has, the image on that other one was so bad it looked it washed out, so I ended up replacing it but the second one was the same as the first one :| so at that point I ended up returning! I bought this one after and no regrets TBH, this monitor it's just awesome, although I dont know why sometimes the picture mode swaps by itself but doesnt do that always only happened a few times. Other than that, this monitor its just everything you need as a gamer. ... show more
