I'm surprised this rug has such good reviews. I bought two and the design on the first one I opened was very obviously lopsided- the gray border was an inch wider at one edge of the rug from end to end. Of course that makes the rug look crooked and distorted on the floor. I did not even take the time to open the second rug as they were meant to be in the same room. I paid over $30 apiece for these rugs. I ordered these thinking they would be better quality than the rugs I would find at my local Walmart for $14 apiece. I sent them back. How did this get past quality control? Bought two and both are so poorly made it is beyond description. How do I trust reviews when this happens? No label stating care or country of origin. Did get a slip of paper with them that stated " turn off beater bar" referring to using a vacuum with them. Super disappointed in the item and not trusting reviews because how did we bat two out of two damaged rugs. Amazon also not allowing me to choose the other rug which is a different size to review- it won't lie flat due to poor sewing.. ... show more

I needed a new entryway rug runner, and I ordered two of these so I had a total of 12 ft of runner. The dark brown works well with my dark brown hard wood flooring. So far I have not noticed any damage to the flooring, so I believe the rugs will not be harmful to the flooring. Maybe best of all is that my cat, who loves to use rugs to sharpen his claws, has not caused any damage to the rugs. ... show more

It really is slip proof. It hasn't moved since we placed it down. It didn't need to be flattened as it laid down and stayed too. Very nice quality. The price is a steal! It ties the tan carpet in with my Grey walls and white trim. Getting another rug for snow by the door. Needed one to run near it. Thanks! ... show more

I am so pleased with these rugs that I just ordered one more. They are well made and skid resistant. There was quite a bit of lint on the small rug I bought with this, but with a few shakes it all came off and it's perfect! The colors are a light to medium gray, off white and a goldish tan. Very pretty combination., soft and muted colors, nothing gaudy in the tan. I have a 13 y/o dog who needs the extra traction of a rug to stand up easier, and these are perfect for that while being beautiful! ... show more

I bought this to cover some electrical cords in my home office. Although color, design and price were the deciding factors I guess you get what you pay for. It's very lightweight and thin so it doesn't stay in place. If you want substance you gotta pay for substance.
